Start with the group size
2 players: The Architect (weekdays) or Sherlock's Brain Fog (Thursday to Saturday). Both are built so a duo can finish without a crowd.
3 to 6 players: any room except The Vault. First time? The Architect. Want a spectacle? The Alchemist. Fans of Holmes? Sherlock's Brain Fog.
7 players: The Vault. A heist needs a crew, and this is the only room that takes seven.
8 to 19 players: two, three or four rooms at the same time, then compare times at Bistro Berlage. 20 or more: Parlay or Time Crimes.

Choosing an Escape Room at Sherlocked
Which room is best for beginners?
The Architect. It is the classic one-hour room with the strongest story, and the only one with a two-player mode. Sherlock's Brain Fog is also friendly for first-timers.
Which room is the hardest?
The Vault is the most demanding: 80 minutes, a real vault complex and some theatrics. The Alchemist sits in the middle. The Architect and Sherlock's Brain Fog are the most accessible.
Can we play with 2 players?
Yes, in The Architect on weekdays and in Sherlock's Brain Fog on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The Alchemist allows two experienced players but is not recommended for duos. The Vault needs at least four.
What is the minimum age?
12 for The Architect, The Alchemist and Sherlock's Brain Fog; The Vault needs players of 15 and older. Children from 6 can join The Alchemist with close supervision. Players of 14 or younger need a chaperone of 16 or older.
How long does each room take?
The Architect 60 minutes, Sherlock's Brain Fog 75 minutes, The Vault 80 minutes, The Alchemist 90 minutes. Add 15 minutes for the briefing.
Can different rooms start at the same time?
On weekdays all rooms start every two hours at the same time, so a group of up to 19 can play side by side. The Alchemist is not synchronised on weekends.
Which rooms are in Dutch?
All rooms are in English. The Architect can be played in Dutch on some Wednesdays and Sundays; ask in advance.
