Yes. The person you’re celebrating never needs to know what’s coming. Tell us the occasion when you book, and we’ll handle the rest during the adventure itself, so the surprise lands exactly when you want it to.

That depends on the mood you’re after.

• The Vault is thrilling and hands-on. Hide the ring inside the final vault, or let one of our live hosts help build the moment around you.
• The Alchemist is emotional and atmospheric. Its finale is written for exactly this kind of moment.
• The Architect builds toward a secret final room, which makes a quiet, unexpected staging ground for a reveal.

All three work. It’s a question of atmosphere, not capability.

Any of our three escape rooms can be personalised for an additional fee, for engagements, birthdays, or anniversaries. A handwritten message, a surprising reveal, a small twist written into the story, we can build it in.

The one exception is the fixed Celebration Package, which is currently only available with The Architect.

At the end of the adventure, your group finds an extra golden key. It unlocks a festive chest of surprises for the birthday person, including:

• A festive moment with matching music and lights
• A cheerful unveiling of the birthday chest, with balloons
• A real, handwritten card carrying your message for the birthday honoree

It’s available on weekdays for €60 on top of the room cost.

It’s an additional fee on top of the room price. Get in touch and tell us what you have in mind, a message, a reveal, a specific twist, and we’ll quote based on what you’re after.

Keep in mind that costs may run up the more elements are added.

The sooner the better, especially for weekends or evening slots, which fill up fast. If you want a custom reveal built into the story, give our team enough notice to prepare it properly.

For the Celebration Package, we request at least 2 days in advance. More personalized specials would need at least 1 week's notice, but the more the better. And please keep in mind that we can't guarantee that we can make all your wishes come true.

Yes. Let us know your plan when booking, and our live hosts will help carry it, whether that’s a subtle nod during the game or a bigger moment at the end.

Yes. We’ve supported proposals across all three adventures and even hosted a wedding inside The Alchemist.

Yes. Sherlocked has supported proposals in all three of our Amsterdam escape rooms, each with its own kind of finale to build a reveal around.

An escape room built around the birthday person turns a normal celebration into a story they’re actually inside. Sherlocked’s Celebration Package adds a golden key, a festive reveal, and a handwritten message to the end of The Architect.
