What People Say About Sherlocked Escape Rooms in Amsterdam

I booked this as a surprise for my wife who enjoys puzzles and mysteries. The TripAdvisor reviews were very positive so I had high expectations which I'm pleased to say were comfortably met. Our host was very friendly and set the scene well for our chosen mystery, the Architect. The difficulty level was about right - we successfully solved most of the challenges, with a couple of helpful nudges from our host, though stumbled close to the end. The setting and attention to detail was excellent and really created a believable atmosphere. While more participants might have helped us solve it faster, it should be well within the capabilities of a couple who pay attention to everything being said and -- most important -- remember to communicate everything, especially if separated! Highly recommended!

We went there with friends and their kids and did the architect. The atmosphere is really mystical and the riddles are very cleverly made. I can definitely suggest to go there ...

I have played a number of escape rooms and this one tops them all! The build of the rooms, the amazing architecture, a cohesive and provocative storyline, and amazing tasks connect each piece of the experience into a wonderful and memorable time. From the time you sign up you feel like you are in the game. From an "experience design" standpoint, it's one of the most finely executed experiences I have had the opportunity to participate in.

(The vault) Much more interactive with a lot of roleplay involved compared to regular escape rooms. An all around amazing experience!

The Vault escape room is awesome! The host also really did a terrific job to make the whole experience a blast from start to finish!

This is the best escape experience I have played so far. The location is stunning in the middle of the city centre in a historical building. The room is completely in style of the location and has many very creative and surprising details. I was in a complete rush playing the room with 4 others. It’s cool that everybody was able to contribute in their own way. Happy I finally got to play this room, can’t wait to also play the other one!

The Architect was a fun and immersive room. There were quite a few fun elements to this room but quite a lot were solvable pretty fast for the experienced players. We completed the room in about 30 minutes which is half the time for the entire game. The clues were given in a unique way however I felt we could have done without them. (Given that we were ahead of time) they seemed to not let you get through them enough or struggle enough before they would call you. This was what let the room down for us. The story was a little loose too given there's some great rooms in Amsterdam with better theme's and immersion. I would reccommend the room for sure, it's fun and quirky. I think a few minor tweaks and you'd be at 5* also in my opinion.

Three of us did the Architect and loved it even though we didn't escape - we were close! The host was great and his introduction was delivered with good atmosphere. It was cleverly devised game with plenty of surprises. No spoilers. Definitely recommend it

My partner and I played "The Architect" after Sherlocked was recommended to us on our Amsterdam trip. Man, this escape room was mindblowing. We have played our fair share of ESCrooms, but this one topped most of them. Great riddles, everything made sense and wasn't too easy, but still solvable. Our game master was very helpful as well. We will definitely return to play "The Vault"!!

The game was great and is full of... "things" (won't spoil ANYTHING) If you're a group or 2 people, and want to do something besides "the usual stuff", THIS is exactly the thing! No mater if tourist or resident.
