What People Say About Sherlocked Escape Rooms in Amsterdam

The best escape I have been to in a while. The concept is amazing and the adrenaline rush was real. We couldn’t stop talking about it after we finished it. It was a bit different than other typical escape rooms, but 120% worth it.

We’ve done the Sherlocked escape room which started outside the premise which was really interesting and included a bit a acting and using props to get into the theme. The interaction with the host was a fun and unique experience.

For sure this has been the first of the escape rooms I'll be doing. Amazing adventure and one of the best thing to do in a rainy day, as it happens often in Amsterdam. I strongly sudgest to give it a try!

My friends and I were lucky enough to get to play The Architect and The Vault back to back during our trip to Amsterdam. It's hard to not just rant incoherently about what an amazing time we had so I'll break it down into parts. The Staff Professionalism at its finest, we arrived at the requested meeting time and were greeted and welcomed warmly. Simon and Victor walked us through getting ready for the Architect while we waited for the rest of our group to arrive. They were polite and helpful with our questions and took a moment in the hectic time of getting everything sorted to keep us entertained with pleasant small talk while we waited. After seeing the rooms its clear how much work goes into hosting, coordinating and assisting each room. This staff is top notch and deserves every bit of praise I can muster. The Rooms The Architect is a stunning masterpiece of an escape room, it provides a strong meta that flows flawlessly in one of the most beautiful spaces I have ever experienced in a room. It's not super clear from the description but the room is housed in the basement of the historic Beurs van Berlage. Most rooms are in a rented office space with some pop up walls, definitely not the case here. Every detail of the room is the highest quality, each prop is handcrafted to fit the aesthetic and function of the space; it's totally awe inspiring. This is a "must do" for any fan of escape rooms, period. The Vault offered an experience I have wanted out of a escape room for years. It's an immersive and engaging story, that rewards you the more you buy into the adventure. The room is challenging and incredibly rewarding ever step of the way, the lead up to the room is almost as fun as the room itself, be sure to take every bit of advice you are given by them. Overall Experience It's pretty clear to me that these rooms rank as some of the best I have done and are must do rooms. If you are in Amsterdam or near by and call yourself a fan of escape rooms, make it a priority to visit.

There were just three of us in attendance, but it did not for one minute detract from the fun of the experience (our first, as it happens). Very cleverly executed and the staff were BRILLIANT, FRIENDLY and EFFICIENT. We almost made it out, but sad to say ran out of time - definitely a must do if you are in Amsterdam and so centrally located. Oh, and we had NO trouble locating it - you would have to be blind to miss it, so don't know what all the fuss is about it being difficult to find, as recorded by other TA contributors. In fact the very large cafe next door to it provides wonderful snacks and drinks should you, like us, arrive a tad early.

They send a message that resembles a scam. I believed it to be a scammer. I had my booking cancelled and no refund issued due to this misunderstanding.

We did the Architect room as a team of 4 and all of us really enjoyed it! Some of our party had done escape rooms before and rated this one as one of the best they've done. Host was friendly and set the scene really well and also allowed time after the game had finished to allow us to ask questions and go over what we had done as there wasn't a booking afterwards which was nice. I would recommend to book atleast a few days in advance at busy times to secure the date and time you want as obviously there is only a set amount of slots each day. We will be doing the vault room when we return next!
