What People Say About Sherlocked Escape Rooms in Amsterdam

My family and I have done many many escape rooms in Europe and America - and Sherlocked is easily our favorite! We did The Architect a few years ago and have been planning to come back for The Vault for a while- so glad we did! Was the most innovative, immersive, incredible escape game experience. Would highly recommend for experienced players- it’s pretty difficult! We made it out & had a rewarding, amazing, surprising experience!

Having done a few escape rooms in the U.K., we wanted to do one while we were in Amsterdam for the weekend and were not disappointed. Thankfully the young man who set the scene for the experience spoke perfect English and therefore we were not at a disadvantage at any stage in the game. He was also a very good actor in setting the atmosphere for the room ahead. It was excellent from start to finish and the puzzles were challenging but not too frustrating. Enough hints along the way when needed without spoiling the flow! The venue was very atmospheric and imaginative. Loved it and would thoroughly recommend. Suitable for groups of friends or families with older children but would recommend at least 4 people do it to stand a chance of getting out! We missed out by about 2 mins (as a group of 3) and would have benefited from an extra person’s help. Or maybe we’re just making excuses!

This was my first escaperoom, and I really enjoyed it. Great atmosphere, kind people and lots of fun!

There is a lot of international hype about Sherlocked’s The Vault. I tried to keep my expectations a bit lower not to be dissapointed, but it turned out it was absolutely unnecessary. The Vault is mindblowing, extraordinary experience that does not even deserve to be called “Escape room”, because it so much more! From the first moment, you are caught into an immersive story that will not let you go until you are done. Pre- and post- game experience is second to none. The space where the game takes place is utterly unique and you will not see anything like it anywhere else. Sherlocked is simply a must for anyone who is travelling to Amsterdam. This is not an Amsterdam’s escape room. This is Amsterdam’s landmark.

Extremely good. Incredibly engaging, very well engineered and designed, there are absolutely no corners cut here. Exceeded my expectations.

Sherlocked in Amsterdam is really something special. As soon as we stepped into The Alchemist, we were blown away. It’s honestly one of the most beautiful and elaborate escape rooms we’ve ever seen. HOWEVER what truly made our visit unforgettable was our host, Victor. His kindness and attentiveness stood out from the start, but he still went above and beyond. Victor secretly collaborated with my (now) fiancé to plan a proposal at the end of our experience. And it was perfect!! This escape room was so genuinely significant and will be a day we’ll cherish forever. Unfortunately, this review does come a couple of months late (life has been busy, as you can imagine!) but we still wanted to thank Victor and the rest of the Sherlocked team. Thank you for giving us such a meaningful and extraordinary memory. Y’all have set the bar impossibly high for escape rooms, and we can’t wait to visit Amsterdam again one day!

We had a wonderfull time at the Escape room The Vault. It was very difficult, but even though we did not complete it, we still felt excited afterwards. Very nice service as well.

It is a super exciting experience that triggers all your senses! It's an adventure that blows your mind and stays with you for a long time!!

The BEST escape room I have been the experience started from the confirmation mail and was all the way through just perfect!!! Next time we will try the architect

This is perfect for a group of young adults that are touring Europe (or interrailing). It's such a great way to kill some time and see who's the best amongst the friends. The experience starts in a different building to the main place which meant we were walking the streets of Amsterdam with a mission. This is something I've not seen before having done many. You also have to act as a fake character to pass through the 'security' part of the mission which is again very unique. The rest of the mission is really good! Definitely book early in advance!
