We played the architect room today as a group of 4. Excellent experience we really enjoyed it.. many thanks to our guide for the experience..we will definitely be doing this again.

Went away for my Stag do to Amsterdam for 3 days, group of 8 mixed ages from early 20's to over 50's. Read about Sherlocked here on TripAdvisor and decided to give a go as a ice breaker/party starter for the weekend. And we were not dissapointed. Originally we booked the new room (The Vault) along with the original Architects room but unfortunately was informed before coming to Amsterdam that the vault wouldn't be ready due to technical issues and our booking will have to be cancelled. A quick response back to the booking managers email and they kindly agreed to give us the exception to have a party of 8 participate in the Architect room together. A fantastically thought through experience, which everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed. Great puzzles and tasks and certainly was above all of our expectations. The setting in the old Stock Exchange building gave it such an authentic feel too. Unfortunately with 8 people we still didn't manage to finish before the hour was up. Our host told us we were very close to the end and we struggled on a particular section which we lost a lot of time on. We all agreed we'd love to do it again and solve the mystery and hopefully next time take a shot at the Vault too. If heading to Amsterdam for the weekend with friends, family or whoever I would strongly recommend giving this a go.

The best escape room I have ever done. We did “The Vault”, which is not your traditional escape room. Rather than trying to escape, you are trying to break in. Unlike most escape rooms, this one is interactive with the uses of walkie talkies and other other items. Other than that, I can’t say anything else or it will ruin the experience. Although we didn’t “win”, we will be back to finish were we left off. This is a must do and is worth every penny.

Amazing experience . We took the vault and it was both challenging and funny ! I recommend going at least in 4 people since less it would be too little ... The hosts were really nice and played their parts greatly !!

By far the most surreal escape room experience. The interior, puzzles and even the roleplaying made this escape room so much more rewarding. We got out with only a few seconds left on the clock. If you want to challenge yourself and your friends, this is THE place to do so.

Our family did the new Vault room this past weekend. We had previously done the architect room at Sherlocked in the past and had loved the experience so we had high expectations, but sadly the sequel room was not on the same level as their first room. Without giving anything away, a number of puzzles in the room were not quite working, the interactions with the guides is via walkie talkie and poor in-room speakers and is difficult to understand and is quite disruptive to the flow of the game, the space is much larger and just does not have the same feel as the first room. We knew within the first few minutes this was going to be a different experience. They are still in the beta phase with this new room, and "are still working out the bugs", but fail to mention when you sign up that not everything will be working. Even if they get the bugs worked out, it will still fall short of the the first room (which was really great). If you are in Amsterdam and want to do an escape room try the Architect room at Sherlock, but skip the Vault.

We chose The Architect as our challenge and it was absolutely brilliant fun. The challenge lasts 1 hour and even gaining entry to the building sets your heart racing. Once inside you check any bags, phones etc in to a special locker and then you are shown downstairs. There you are given the "history" to the mystery which sets the scene and was told in such a way that it was totally believable. I won't spoil the experience for people by telling you what you have to do but suffice to say you must undertake some challenges and solve some puzzles to reach a satisfactory conclusion. There is some help, if you need it, via a phone which rings in your room. The effects are very clever and well executed and you need to have your wits about you. Expect the unexpected. The hour absolutely flew in and was exciting. We enjoyed it so much that we are going to try other venues.

My fiancée and I are big fans of the works by Arthur Conan Doyle and enjoy everything associated with Sherlock Holmes ranging from literature, films, tv series, PC games over to the ultimate experience which was this place and we highly recommend it! It was just us two against the clock in The Architect room and it was a treat like no other. We enjoyed it immensely and were pleasantly surprised to learn that our expectations were fulfilled and beyond. The nice lady guiding us through was ever so friendly and polite and we thank her for letting us enjoy this awesome escape filled with puzzles, clues and riddles. In summary it was a most memorable evening and we hope to visit again in the future:) Thanks from Filip and Katerina:)

Excellent staff, great set up and overall a very fun and challenging escape room. Definitely worth a visit especially for an outing with friends. I will be back to try out more rooms for sure. I hear they are working on a new escape room too

Was a great time from the pickup all the way to completion. The scale and storytelling of the Alchemist, made it feel like we were the main characters in a movie. Can highly recommend to try one or all of their escape rooms.
