What People Say About Sherlocked Escape Rooms in Amsterdam

Last week me and some friends went to the Vault escape room by Sherlocked. For us this was the first escape room we did but it was an incredible experience and we're sure we're going to do the second escape room by Sherlocked 'the architect' as well. The vault was thought out really well. Fun problems, awesome location and a mystical atmosphere came together. Great stuff and well worth the money!

The ironic part is that we had a hard time finding the entrance. Once we were inside no one was there so we thought this still wasn't it, but later someone arrived. We had to put our phones and stuff like coats/bags away. Then we got a short story introduction and went into the room. Of course I won't spoil anything, and I am glad I didn't read any spoilers online either! We did The Architect. It was really fun! We managed to complete the challenge and recieved a pin as a reward! We also got a discount voucher for The Vault. The host also took a photo of us which he later sent to us by email, and I asked hin to take a phone with my phone too, which he was willing to do so. I really recommend this escape room! Our group consisted of 5 people (min. 2, max. 6) but I am glad we were with this many since it might have been too hard for us with 2 or 3.

Surprising, intriguing. Not easy, a real challenge! Well organized. Not scary but exciting, definately. Nice to do with group of friends.

I booked this as a surprise for my wife who enjoys puzzles and mysteries. The TripAdvisor reviews were very positive so I had high expectations which I'm pleased to say were comfortably met. Our host was very friendly and set the scene well for our chosen mystery, the Architect. The difficulty level was about right - we successfully solved most of the challenges, with a couple of helpful nudges from our host, though stumbled close to the end. The setting and attention to detail was excellent and really created a believable atmosphere. While more participants might have helped us solve it faster, it should be well within the capabilities of a couple who pay attention to everything being said and -- most important -- remember to communicate everything, especially if separated! Highly recommended!

I’m used to play escape room in Brazil and since I was in Amsterdam for holidays, I wanted to check how was the rooms here. It didn’t start well with me ringing the bell and no one answering it. It was cold and rainy and only after 15 minutes, someone opened the door and simply said... I heard someone ringing but we were busy!! C’mon... this is not how you supposed to treat a customer! We played “the architect” and the game master was supposed to give us hints.... even that we were stuck, no hints arrived. Good part is that they gave extra time and we were able to leave the room. Another “different” behavior from the escape rooms that I’m used is that she was “surprised” that we wanted to take a picture of the team!!!

Na hoge verwachtingen the vault gespeeld waarbij een defect in de kamer er voor zorgde dat we niet konden inbreken dit werd door de host veel te makkelijk afgedaan. De beleving viel ons wat tegen hier zou meer uit gehaald kunnen worden. Inmiddels is dit door het bedrijf goed opgepakt en opgelost bedankt!

This is the place to be if you are into the adventures of escape rooms! As a family, we scheduled all 3 of their rooms on one day and while it was mentally challenging, each game was fantastic and totally worth the investment and time. The rooms are spectacular, complex, linear and automated. All game masters were superb from the moment you step into the building to exiting it. We solved all 3 rooms and had a blast! Your escape journey is not complete if you don’t go to Amsterdam and you don’t get to do at least one of the rooms! We came at the recommendation it was best in the world—7 countries and 50 escape rooms later, we agree! #3/3 ✅
