What People Say About Sherlocked Escape Rooms in Amsterdam

This was not my first escape room and I would say it was really good! I won’t give too much away but the staff really got into the spirit & the quality of the props & room was top notch. It was challenging (only 30% escape) so maybe better in a bigger team or for experienced escapers. I plan to do their other experience ‘break in’ next time I visit.

I didn't know what to expect when I went to Sherlocked but it blew my mind! A great way to spend time with friends, very challenging, and extremely well put together. You can tell the care that went in to making it a good experience. Well worth the money, well worth the time! Afterwards we went for a drink and we couldn't stop talking about how much fun we'd had. And we kept trying to open all the secret compartments in the bar we were at. Oh, and we totally made it out with 11 seconds to spare ;) 10200 ftw!

I've done escape rooms in my own town and enjoyed them, but this place blows them all away. The setting, set setup and the quality is of the scale. Its like comparing your local traveling amusement park to Disneyland. The level of refinement, quality, thought and execution are beyond anything I could have expected. The staff was wonderful and performed beyond anything we could have expected. We did both the Architect and the Vault. I recommend the Architect for first time people and if you are ready for the big one, move on the the Vault. We solve the Architect with 4 seconds to spare but came up short on the Vault. However, we were the last people for the night, 23:58, so when the timer ran out, they didn't stop the game. They allowed us to keep going for another 30+ mins and that was great, as we were able to see more of the game that way. Very nice of them to do that and stay that late. So, if you can hang out that long, I recommend doing the last event option for the day, as they won't have anyone scheduled after you then you might get to see more of the game if you falter. I can't say enough about how great this experience was.

Grate experience for when you visit Amsterdam with a group of friends

After failing The vault a few years ago, we got the opportunity to try again today, after a group had cancelled and there was a spot left. This time we had to do The vault with just the two of us. We had some difficulties with talking ourselves in (tip: prepare your story when you walk to the gallery). It was a though one again, but we managed to finish the room successfully! Even when playing again, we liked the story and we felt the excitement of breaking in again! Definitely recommend this escaperoom. Thanks Sherlocked, for letting us fill in the free spot!

My family (ages range from 16-74) and I had the opportunity to play both The Architect and The Vault. Both rooms were a major highlight of our trip to Amsterdam. It also worth mentioning the incredible customer service. On the day we were meant to play The Vault, there was an alarm going off and we were unable to play. They offered us a refund and allowed us to reschedule for the following day, for half of the price. The Architect was incredibly fun, challenging, and a great warm-up for The Vault. We escaped the room with a few seconds to spare. Although we weren't able to escape The Vault (apparently there is an 8% success rate), this was our favorite room! The roleplaying made this experience absolutely amazing. If you only have time for one room, I highly recommend The Vault. Beware, it's incredibly challenging.

Such a cool experience! Great ambiance, exciting storyline and challenging tasks. Wish we could do it all over again!

Echt een super toffe ervaring gehad. Uit comfort zone met sommigen opdrachten, maar ook helemaal de drive te pakken met andere. Het laat je af en toe twijfelen aan jezelf, maar samen met een groep kom je er wel (of nou ja bijna). Maar je wordt goed meegenomen in de hele ervaring. Op een gegeven moment verlies je ook een beetje de tijd en de realiteit. Geweldig

As one of the first ones attending the Sherlocked Escape room, I can say it exceeded all expectations I had. Feeling liberated at every step in the puzzle, a feeling I only get when I win a 6 hours board game, the feeling of solving these puzzles together is so incredibly rewarding. To be active with your hands and head, together your friends... wow! I can recommend this to anyone, and I want to do more and more and more escape rooms! :D
