Fjew that was checking my excitement abilities. But darn-it, we did not make it in time. Amazing in what state I get with the rush, the excitement and the group dynamics. No drugs, just pressure and th challenge. Awsome. Thank you. Wanna do it again but I can't. Hope there will be a second one soon!!

Zaterdag 5 december een poging gedaan om de kluis te kraken. Voor je het pand in bent al hilarische momenten, wat zit dat goed in elkaar en wat hebben we gelachen en onze hersens laten werken. Wat een geweldige locatie om dit spel te kunnen spelen en we baalde echt dat de tijd zo snel ging, we komen zeker nog een keer terug om in ieder geval de andere kamer te ontdekken en wie weet gaan we nog wel een keer proberen om tot het eind te komen! Great place ! The game wasn’t easy at all, but really challenging and interesting ! We loved our time there !

We didn't solve it but we had a lot of fun trying. The theming was well done. I love that its tied to Amsterdam and the building's history.

We completed the 'The Architect'. It was one of the best escape rooms I've experienced. Very well put together. The host was very good, the story was inventive and the plot-element suprising. The escape room was thrilling and exciting despite it being a non horror escape room. It had me excited and I'd advise this one!

Sherlocked is located at the Beurs van Berlage which is a five minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station. You will find the entrance at the Beursplein, next to the café opposite to 'de Bijenkorf'. Make yourself known by ringing the bell. The host will pick you up at the door and, after greeting you, will guide you to a place where you can leave all jackets, bags, and valuables. All valuables as well as bags are left in containers which will be locked so don't worry about anything getting stolen. After storing your belongings the host will guide you to the catacombs of the Beurs van Berlage and will tell you the story about the Beurs van Berlage after which the challenge will start. We played The Architect, which was absolutely terrific. The room is decorated beautifully with the decor completely fitting the early 1900s style of the Beurs van Berlage. The puzzles and riddles are not too easy and have been thought out very well. Clues provide hints in a very cryptic manner causing one to really think twice. Opposed to other escape rooms puzzles and riddles are diverse requiring the players to use all their senses. Hints are provided through an old fashioned phone in the room. Puzzles aren't necessarily lineair meaning players can work simultaneously on solving different mysteries. We were with five, which felt like an ideal team size. Unfortunately we did not manage to escape within 60 minutes as we got stuck in the last fiveteen minutes despite being very very close. Escaping, however, isn't impossible within the hour, just be sure to stay calm, think clear and retrace the steps you've taken. According to the host 60% of the players manage to escape within the hour. Despite failing to escape we had the time of our lives. Playing Sherlocked is a great experience and I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a great activity with friends to play this game. We will definitely come back to play The Vault! I think Sherlocked really lives up to its promise of being among the best escape rooms in the Netherlands. Hopefully the portfolio will be expanded beyond The Architect, The Vault and (currently) The Port Game.

Best 'escape room' I visited so far! Nice atmosphere created by funny role-playing and wonderful location.

We did the architect, and it was not one of my best escaperoom experiences. We were stuck on some steps, and the hints we needed were useless. One of the hints was to look better.. we looked for 15 minutes and that was all we got. Also the sound of the music we needed to hear was so soft we had to keep replaying before we coud hear a hint, and the helper her english was difficult to understand when she gave a hint, and soft to hear. Superleuk teamuitje! Ik ben gisteravond geweest met mijn collega's en we behoren tot het percentage dat het ook daadwerkelijk lukt de kamer uit te komen, met tijd over! #trots op de goede samenwerking en dit spel is echt goed in elkaar gezet... spannend, goed verhaal en goed uitgevoerd!
