First time I did an escape room. What a nice experience! Great atmosphere, nice challenges and enough surprises :)

We've done lots of escape rooms around the world by now. Alongside with one in Bangkok, this has to be the very very best. The puzzles are detailed, smart and exciting and you get to use more than one of your senses, which most rooms don't do. It's so much more than just locks and combinations - Wow. SO EXCITING! We got out 2 minutes before the end when usually we're much faster in other rooms. And the location is only a 4 minute walk from Centraal station in an amazingly beautiful building, which my guests really enjoyed. The room itself is gorgeously decorated and they probably had the best backstory I've ever heard. I would highly recommend this room, which has only been open since August I think.

We do the Valut and have so much fun, it was exciting and challenging. And the staff did a great job.

If your in a group whether it be from a group of mates out for a laugh or professionals on team building exercises this is simply awesome! I recently went with a group of 6 mates on a stag do and although initially we were anything but prepared for a mental workout (combination of tiredness and indulging in Amsterdams finest) we all soon got stuck in and left buzzing, all running over the experience - what we got right and wrong - it was fantastic!!! The venue was in a nice location, the building clean and the staff friendly. The game itself was well thought out and flowed really well. My ONLY complaint would be the lack of water on hand when in the game, admittedly i didn`t bring any nor ask for any and im sure they would have provided me with a refreshment if i had of asked however just note, you are in a room for an hour and it did get a little warm so bringing a small bottle with you isnt the worst idea. Overall a great activity to do - if you have a chance - do it!

Excellent entertainment, we had lots of fun even though we failed badly at the end. 5/5 will be back!

Exceptional quality escape room

The Alchemist is the best escape room I’ve ever done in my life, and I’ve done a lot. My friend and I took a trip to Amsterdam, and we knew we had to take the opportunity to visit Sherlocked. We felt like we were in a movie. The puzzles were fun, just the right amount of challenging, and made sense with the story. And speaking of the story- what an immersive, engaging, and beautiful experience. I’ve never been so swept away by every element of an escape room and it had me completely captivated from start to finish. The quality, the craftsmanship, the creativity- bravo! I only wish I could afford to travel the world more often so I could try all of the other rooms here.

We almost escaped!! Great activity to do with work colleagues or like minded friends. It does take team work and you need to be on the ball. Had a lot of laughs and much fun, felt like a kid again. We did two cases. Would have liked the option to have a beer/drink between them as we had to wait for our other group to finish before we swapped. But it was a great experience and the team managing it were a good sport.

We went there with friends and their kids and did the architect. The atmosphere is really mystical and the riddles are very cleverly made. I can definitely suggest to go there ...

I recommend this highly. Very well planned and executed. Such a blast! We finished with 11 minutes to spare, it was so much fun none of us wanted it to end. We can't wait until it changes or there's a new one so we can do it again!
