What People Say About Sherlocked Escape Rooms in Amsterdam

Recently played Sherlocked's new break-in experience! Our game started at 12 midnight which I think also kind of added to the atmosphere of the game. I really liked the fact that it wasn't easy, a real challenge. Unfortunately we didn't fully complete the challenge, which did make me lose a nights sleep, thinking of all possible ways we would have been able to make it. All in all I really enjoyed it and highly recommend trying one of their (as of writing) two experiences! The Vault was the first time, but I'll sure be back for the other one soon!

My friends and I chose to do ‘The Architect’ last week and it was honestly so fantastic. Our host was lovely and made the experience much more special and the room itself was fantastic. You can tell a lot of thought has been put into the detailed journey this escape room takes you on :) Bonus: we managed to escape!

Great experience, all in English so no language problems. You are involved from the very beginning and definitely need to think out of the box!

Wow!!! This escape room is really exciting and thrilling!!! It's very accurately designed , the guys play their roles seriously and really well!! Super fun and just MUST visit!!! Have fun...

Awesome. Fun. Clever. Authentic. Like!

I went with a group of 4 total to do The Vault and we all loved it. I was quite nervous about the experience after receiving the pre-break in information, but once the experience began it became so immersive immediately that all my nerves about it were translated into other emotions (excitement, adrenaline, nerve-wracking...). There has clearly been so much work put into and it is unlike any other escape room I have done. The staff members contribute well with their great acting and they really feel part of the scenario. The actual room is amazing, really well made (although I appreciate some of its charm is due to it being an actual original vault under the city) to seem authentic. It is challenging, with a good variety of challenges (problem-solving, organisation, communication, even physical!) which keeps the whole team involved. The staff do give hints but I think their level of involvement was appropriate. We didn’t manage to break in. My only bug bear was that this was partly due to part of the Vault being difficult to open, as it is part of the original structure, but I also understand this is important for the authenticity so I don’t really mind. Would 100% recommend as must-do in Amsterdam.

She even told us it was her first day and we were completely shocked as she was so professional and brilliant. The game itself was nothing like i’d played before, it was so interactive and such a new experience and had a great mix of brain puzzles and physical activities !

We went first thing on Sunday morning. The shop keep was a bit tardy. After feeling like the whole thing was a sketchy gimmick, we allowed the young Dutchman to lock us into an underground room. But, that was when the action ramped up! Cool room. Lots of unique and interesting clues. Don't worry. It is not a real life reenactment of the Saw movie!! It is a fun, challenging, family oriented game. My wife and two kids each had valuable contributions, although my oldest daughter was the MVP!! Unfortunately, we didn't complete the challenge. We needed 5 more minutes but the stingy shop keep told us to move along. Bummer. We will conquer the sister company in Brussels!!!

Terrible experience as a customer - this escape room asked to change the time (very close to the date) which we BOOKED AND PAID ALREADY, and I couldn’t make that time so I asked to cancel for myself while other friends would still do. The reply from them is I cannot get a refund as much as I paid, since the number of participants is shorter now - which is CAUSED BY YOU. I tried to call and left a message via social media, but NO ONE REPLIED, ignoring my message while still posting stories? PLEASE treat all your customers properly and process the refund for the FULL amount for 1 person immediately. It is unacceptable to place the burden of YOUR fault on your customers. I’ll never recommend this place to anyone, there’re much better escape rooms in Amsterdam to secure your booking and treat customers properly, rather than this frustrating experience of paying more than €35.

Great place ! The game wasn’t easy at all, but really challenging and interesting ! We loved our time there !
