Brilliant experience with 3 of my friends. As a group of 4 early 20's girls it was a random choice for us but we enjoyed every second!!!! Challenging, engaging and such an adrenaline rush. Perfect for something different to do, we did ours at midnight. Solve the clues to get out of a locked room! Really recommended, hostess was lovely!! think it needs to be ranked #1, I can't rate it highly enough! Thank you sherlocked, worth every penny. X

We loved the room with all the nice details, it is a very fun way to spend the hour. You will have to crack the nut, but it is doable. Location is great if you would like to have a drink, enough bars in the area. A lot of fun but a bit pricy, although they are cheaper during weekdays. Cindy B.

Playing their new escape room "The Alchemist" was a great experience. The difficulty of the puzzles builds up in a challenging, but still enjoyable way. Also, the puzzles are well thought through, all suiting the story nicely, and they are of good quality. Lastly, the staff's acting, from start to finish and without breaking character, the atmosphere of the escape room, and storytelling are amazing, creating very good immersion. I would certainly recommend it.

The Alchemist was my first ever escape game, and it’s putting the level very high. I had so much fun that I totally lost track of time. I loved every inches of the experience: the storyline, the marvelous set design, all of the challenges were super playful and intriguing with a sparkle of magic wonder. For the fans of Harry Potter, you shall go!

We made our booking a few days in advance knowing that we were likely coming at a busy time. We were able to secure a spot at 18:00 and had no issues at all finding the location or with our booking time. The game itself offers a wide variety of puzzles from simple to complex, from solvable by one person to requiring multiple people. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would recommend it to anyone who loves puzzles, escape rooms, fun, and adventure. Afterward, we inquired of our host if he had any recommendations for other rooms in the area that we should play – he suggested Questomatica where we also had a wonderful time. This game was very cool, think the guys did a great job, we found ourselves caught up in the game completely as if our lives depended on it. Felt rather foolish at times when the solution was staring us right in the face ;) YOu tend to over think things. It felt like being a kid again, next room please!

Best escape room we have done by far. Especially as it is quite interactive outside in Amsterdam at the start. Absolutely brilliantly thought out and without giving too much away, the people involved were FANTASTIC. 4 of us went and had the best time and cannot stop talking about it. A MUST DO WHEN YOU VISIT. Well well worth it!

We've been to a few puzzle rooms now and this one really stands out. The decor, the story, the creativity that went into the challenges is really inspired. I loved that it was truly difficult at times (although I'm not sure if I'd say the same if we hadn't júst made it..). I noticed a review here complaining about a 'lack of logic' to the quests and even though it's a bit junior of me, all I can say is 'awww shucks'. Everything's wildly connected here and indeed nothing is spelled out for you. If you're stuck, it's not the game and it's not the host; it's you. We were thrilled every time something clicked with us, even (and especially) after reaching that point of desperation, when you think you've run out of clues. In short; can't wait for their next room and this one is highly recommend!

Wat een geweldige escaperoom. Voor we het in de gaten hadden, was het spel al begonnen. En dan die spannende voorpret met mails en sms'jes en de auto. We'll be back!!!

Had an amazing experience at The Vault! There's a lot of attention to detail and they really make it feel like you're doing a heist.
