What People Say About Sherlocked Escape Rooms in Amsterdam

We had the pleasure of tackling The Architect tonight and give it our highest recommendation for all, but we will focus our comments towards other families with kids/teens. Our children are ages 9, 11, and 13yrs and we had done one "escape room" prior to this (the previous experience was helpful, but by no means necessary to enjoy this activity). The Architect adventure is exciting, challenging and surprising in numerous ways that reflect great creativity and originality. Everyone in our family was able to contribute and was entirely immersed in the experience. We would suggest that there be at least 2 adults for an adventure like this and definitely it is necessary that some of the kids are somewhat older (12yrs and above) so they can be more involved in puzzle solving. That said, younger children provide their unique perspective - and good ears and eyes that can sometimes be key to finding or solving something that adults struggle with. This is a fantastic way to spend time together as a family. It requires true teamwork and cooperation. Siblings need to support and listen to one another in order to be successful...and are thrilled by the fruits of their joint efforts! We hope others have as much fun as we did.

A must do!!!! My husband found this online and it sounded interesting. We thought we would give it a try. Great experience, tons of fun and we want to do it again. I'm not going to give anything away but will say the staff is wonderful. The puzzles are challenging and the story like awesome!!!! Do this on your next trip. You need to have at least two people to do some of the puzzles, and a minimum of four people for others. We had a great time with two people but can see how a group would be even better and lots of fun too!

The Vault is, from start to finish, truly immersive. If you're hesitating or thinking oh, I can do an escape room in my own city, reconsider! Sherlocked's escape rooms are meticulously constructed without being scary - these are real adventures you won't have anywhere else. We were a group of experience puzzlers and it was no walk in the park. Definitely worth a visit!

They start you off in a weird place don't think of anything negative it's part of the game. They have gone outside the box with the escape games. It was truly amazing and if I come back to Amsterdam need to do it all over again and hopefully I can finish it.

There is a lot of international hype about Sherlocked’s The Vault. I tried to keep my expectations a bit lower not to be dissapointed, but it turned out it was absolutely unnecessary. The Vault is mindblowing, extraordinary experience that does not even deserve to be called “Escape room”, because it so much more! From the first moment, you are caught into an immersive story that will not let you go until you are done. Pre- and post- game experience is second to none. The space where the game takes place is utterly unique and you will not see anything like it anywhere else. Sherlocked is simply a must for anyone who is travelling to Amsterdam. This is not an Amsterdam’s escape room. This is Amsterdam’s landmark.

You have to visit The Vault!! This is the best escape room experience I have had so far. There is a bit of role play, a lot of real life experience like elements. The host was a really cool guy and his role playing skills are on point. Once inside, the puzzles are jarring and the intense race against time makes it even more exhilarating experience. We managed to escape in the last 10 seconds (Yes!). We were literally running to find escape. Mind it, only 20% of people manage to escape from this room. So If you believe that you had done a one too many escape rooms, I dare you to try this one. The Authenticity and history of the building where the Vault is located just cherry on the icing making the experience even more enriched. Ps. The management team has taken all necessary measures to maintain social distancing and proper sanitary measures within the premises for corona virus

My family (ages range from 16-74) and I had the opportunity to play both The Architect and The Vault. Both rooms were a major highlight of our trip to Amsterdam. It also worth mentioning the incredible customer service. On the day we were meant to play The Vault, there was an alarm going off and we were unable to play. They offered us a refund and allowed us to reschedule for the following day, for half of the price. The Architect was incredibly fun, challenging, and a great warm-up for The Vault. We escaped the room with a few seconds to spare. Although we weren't able to escape The Vault (apparently there is an 8% success rate), this was our favorite room! The roleplaying made this experience absolutely amazing. If you only have time for one room, I highly recommend The Vault. Beware, it's incredibly challenging.

Sherlocked is a must see activity in Amsterdam! Very well run, plenty of time slots to accommodate my group and a really well put together escape room!

We did The Vault today with 6 friends and it was truly amazing! We all loved it and found it one of the best escape room we experienced so far!

We made our booking a few days in advance knowing that we were likely coming at a busy time. We were able to secure a spot at 18:00 and had no issues at all finding the location or with our booking time. The game itself offers a wide variety of puzzles from simple to complex, from solvable by one person to requiring multiple people. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would recommend it to anyone who loves puzzles, escape rooms, fun, and adventure.
