Super chill dude, well thought out game we really enjoyed it.

This is my fourth Escape Room I've done in person, and definitely my favorite so far. My job full time is a Design teacher, and one of my units is designing an Escape Room game on the computer, so it is a passion of mine. What made this escape room enjoyable is that no two puzzles were alike, and they lead you in a way that makes sense if you stop to think instead of something impossibly cryptic which I've experienced before. The atmosphere is also very immersive and all the puzzles fit the theme. So glad we took the time to do this!

We played "The Alchemist" today and it was absolutely amazing!!! The best escape the room we have ever played, and we played many around the globe. Before we booked, we read on their website that the room took 3 years to design and build and while ar first I wasn't sure why it would take that long, once you're playing it, you get it. It is absolutely incredible. The game design is perfect, the mechanics (and I do mean hard-core, engineered mechanics involved in turning the random physical space into a story-telling instrument with lights and gear) are perfect and the narrative is perfect. We are leaving Amsterdam soon otherwise we would definitely try their other games. Five stars!! Best ever.

For sure this has been the first of the escape rooms I'll be doing. Amazing adventure and one of the best thing to do in a rainy day, as it happens often in Amsterdam. I strongly sudgest to give it a try!

After failing The vault a few years ago, we got the opportunity to try again today, after a group had cancelled and there was a spot left. This time we had to do The vault with just the two of us. We had some difficulties with talking ourselves in (tip: prepare your story when you walk to the gallery). It was a though one again, but we managed to finish the room successfully! Even when playing again, we liked the story and we felt the excitement of breaking in again! Definitely recommend this escaperoom. Thanks Sherlocked, for letting us fill in the free spot!

We played "The Vault" with a few colleagues. It was my first escape room and I really enjoyed it. The game starts off in a different location and the beginning was especially memorable. There, we received instructions and made our way to the actual art gallery/vault for the break-in attempt. The main location is very unique as well in the basement of a historic building. The puzzles were quite mixed in difficulty. Some were relatively straight-forward, for others we needed some hints by the game master to progress. Though we didn't get stuck anywhere for too long, the time limit was really tight and we barely made it with just a few minutes to spare. We were told that only about 8% of teams fully complete the challenge. Overall the was a great and really well-designed experience.

Made me fall in love with escape rooms all over again. I did The Alchemist with a group of three. That was one of the best designed escape rooms I have ever done, hands down. There are certain moments and surprises that totally immerse you into the mission and the various tasks at hand. Staff were engaged in the story and remained in character at all times during the puzzle. Due to a late start of our own fault, there was a timely placed clue at one point by the staff that unblocked our progress (but we did the rest on our own ). You don't have to be some genius to figure it out, but it does take patience and focus. The ending was fantastic! I am honestly so impressed with The Alchemist. Some of my colleagues turned down our evening plan due to mediocre escape rooms in the past, but this was so beyond expectation. They missed out! A great team activity to do together in Amsterdam that requires creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking under some pressure!

We booked this as a birthday treat for our friend whilst visiting Amsterdam. From the start we were captivated by the experience, the build up was exciting and the whole thing was brilliant. This is the largest escape rooms we’ve ever been to and the venue & detail was impressive. Would recommend to anyone for a fun activity.

My husband and I run our own escape room in Ireland, and we often go and play other games because we love these games so much. Many times we are let down by unoriginal, pointless puzzles that are more like a lame scavenger hunt without any logic or problem solving. We went to Sherlocked in November with some family members and played The Architect and were absolutely blown away by the quality of the puzzles, the layout of the room, the friendly and professional staff, and the excitement we felt towards the end as we were so close to escaping! I'm a harsh critic of escape games and as I said am usually unimpressed. I will be recommending this game to everyone I meet that makes a trip to A'dam. My hats off to the creators of the game, the staff, and everyone involved in this great activity. You deserve all of your 5 star reviews, and more.

One of the best escape rooms I have ever played! A lot of variation in puzzles: electric, teamwork, riddles, etc! If you are visiting Amsterdam this is a must see!
