First family experience of " escape room" . Totally brilliant. We had a great time. Thanks guys! Plus we found the keys! Yay!

OMG - if you have teenage kids ( mine are 12/14) this is brilliant, I cant tell you too much as we are sworn to secrecy ! but all I will say is that this was by far one of the best things we did in Amsterdam , it involved thinking and working out clues using all of your senses and yes mum & dad will have a brilliant time too - its just as much fun for adults as for kids , great team effort -we all left feeling ecstatic. Cannot recommend this place highly enough -WHOLE FAMILY LOVED IT !!

We went Saturday 28th April 2018. Sherlocked was booked for me as a surprise, well my Husband said if he had asked me to go I would have probably said no "he was right'. I have never done anything like this before but I can tell you I loved it. If you are thinking about doing Sherlocked then stop thinking and just book it you will not be disappointed. The guy (cannot remember his name "sorry") who was our guide and story teller was lovely and friendly. We attempted the Architecht yes I say attempted because we ran out of time sadly.. But this has been the massive highlight of our long weekend stay in Amsterdam it was fantastic!! I would recommend anyone visiting Amsterdam to book this event you will love it. You know what even if you do not break out the room you will feel great for even trying I know we did. My husband is the most competitive man there is and I thought he would be a little moody because he did not beat the Architecht but he enjoyed the attempt that much he was not at all phased. We would certainly book with Sherlocked again when visiting Amsterdam and our advice to anyone would be.. Go and give it ago if you think you are clever enough ha!

My friends and I who have each done 5-7 escape rooms each in all different European countries decided to give Sherlocked a try after reading promising reviews. Sadly, everyone left with a bad taste in their mouths and frustrated with the whole experience. You go in and learn about the impressive story and history of the building, then are introduced to the room. We soon realized the gamekeeper will use a phone to communicate with the group - no doubt designed to help you in the right direction (this concept is used in every escape room we have done). However, what it turned into was the gamekeeper calling us to stop messing with the old books, or stop touching this old item, don't touch the couch ect. We began to dread every time the phone rang because we knew it was to have us stop touching something. It eventually had us tiptoeing around the place. Keep in mind, we weren't being destructive, it's just that nothing is a prop, which blows my mind because I'm used to having everything in the room being fair game to hold and study. When we were done, the gamekeeper was not friendly and seemed generally annoyed with us. Do your yourself a favor and skip Sherlocked. We went to a couple other escape rooms in Amsterdam and had a blast. Check those out instead.

Do you like an adventure? This is the best experience I've had since a while. A perfectly crafted mental ride that makes you want to continue on and on, it's almost sad to finish it. But oh so exhilarating all the way through. The ambience is amazing and the clues are difficult but definitely doable. I'm hardcore fan now of escape the room!

truly amazing experience with mind blowing riddles. it is solvable but challenging at the same time. really recommend the architect room :)

we went once,to the architect room, and the riddles and clues were very fun and well put together. The staff were really friendly and the location was great. Totally recommend this for people who love challenges.

Best escape room I ever did

Don't miss it if you are with a group of friends! I think it was worth every penny and great fun. Lovely staff and an amazing setting :)
