It was such a great experience from beginning to end! We were greeted very kindly by Sam. He really took the time for us and didn't rush us when we were a little late. The lock in itself, with finding all the clues and puzzling our way out was absolutely awesome. It's very well set up and they do not make it easy on you. The experience gives you a small adrenaline rush and it's so rewarding to make it out in time. Great for teambonding! We already planned our next escape in two months. Thanks guys!

What an epic adventure! There were 4 of us and it was our very first escape room (or break in room in this case!). The Vault is a pretty difficult room but it ultimately doesn’t matter if you manage to finish it or not, the overall experience and journey is what makes it so amazing. It’s extremely immersive and the actor was fantastic and really helpful. Don’t hesitate to ask for hints or help if you need to! Trust the reviews and book this amazing experience asap! We’ve already pre-ordered our tickets for the Alchemist and will hopefully book it for the same day as the Architect, the other two escape room experiences by Sherlocked.

Definitely would not recommend this place. I've heard that customer service for this room sucks, but I could not imagine how bad it really is. When we've just arrived we noticed that we should call or text some guy who opens the door. After having a few calls and messages unanswered, the guy appeared in hurry to let us in. It was 20 minutes wasted in the cold. During the game my teammate got in emergency situation with his health, we tried to signal the operator but it was useless. He was unreachable. Horrible! Once the time passed we were told - that's all and we should quit. Nevertheless that we asked for final solution (having passed 95% of the quest) - they declined to give us neither time nor solution and asked for payment for the next session (start over). Me and my team are doing quests and escape rooms over the world and it's the first time that we are having such a terrible service. Demanded payment for 2nd hour of the quest, declined to help in emergency situation, made us wait in the cold outside for 20 minutes... The worst experience ever.

Played The Architect, and it was very funn! I wish we signed up for The Vault as well.

From start to finish this is awesome. Actors are brilliant (especially Yoka) and the whole set up is amazing. We did this as a team of 4 and just completed it will seconds to go. Great fun and really made our day. We were talking about it all night! Highly recommended.

If you love escape rooms Sherlocked is the one to visit. We tried the Vault and The Architect and we couldn't believe how much fun that was.

The Alchemist was great! Ibrahim was a great host, he really tricked us good at the start haha. Also shoutout to our friend Andra who recommended this experience.

We booked the 'architect' escape room on a Saturday evening. Very nice atmosphere, great setting in the beautiful Beurs van Berlage building. The room, riddles and puzzles were very challenging, but we managed to get out in 45 minutes. Pretty quick, and all six of us are proud of it! We will come back to try out the Vault, the new escape room which just opened a week ago!

Fab fab fab! I suggested this to my husband to do for his birthday as he had previously been to an escape room on his stag. It was fantastic! Very well thought out and you can really immerse yourself in the whole experience. The staff are approachable and very believable in the story the lay out too. It really gets you thinking and was a great way to spend an hour working as a team with my hubby- got to keep his brain ticking over now he's the ripe old age of 32! Would definitely recommend a visit!

Highly recommended! — With barely any experience of escape rooms (I'd been to only one prior), I curiously and confidently stepped inside Sherlocked's "The Alchemist" close to midnight for a late night session. I was blown away by the production value, puzzles and involvement that went into building it. I wasn't exactly sure what to expect, but I definitely experienced a sense of wonder and delight as I worked with my team (my girlfriend and three other strangers) to figure out every piece of this puzzle. If you have a few hours in Amsterdam, consider booking a session. Additional bonus was the great location—an easy to find & beautiful old stocks building in the heart of the city.
