What People Say About Sherlocked Escape Rooms in Amsterdam

I experienced the Vault escape adventure (escape room doesn't fit as a description) two days ago and I'm under huge impression. I tried escape rooms few times already, they were fine and interesting but I was basically cracking all the mysteries and had very goal-oriented approach. With the Vault the thing is very different! First of all the storyline is perfect, you can really get immersed not only in the puzzles, but the overall experience and you forget about the "real world". It's fun, it's persuasive, you just find yourself being 100% in the story and acting as one of the characters. Secondly, puzzles you face give you challenges and make you stepping on your toes to solve them. Finally - the quality! It was such a pleasure taking part in the experience that was designed with such a commitment to details and solutions used. I really enjoyed how well produced it is and how much it is embedded in Amsterdam's infrastructure. And with that I should say no more, not to share any spoilers ;) Enjoy

Super fun after work activity with my friends in the heart of Amsterdam . I enjoyed the historical element. Definitely in the top 2 escape games I’ve done!

My wife and I along with our two adult children had a great time at Sherlocked. This was our first escape room experience and it did not disappoint. We were not able to complete but we all hope to return again.

We did the Vault. This was the #7 best Escape room from 2018. It was fantastic. This is a more immersive role in which you have to talk to a few people. The setting where the Vault takes place cannot be beat. The location is near the center of town. This is a destination escape room that you must do if you visit Amsterdam.

We did the alchemist escape room and were absolutely amazed by it. Compliments to all the people who work there. We were amazed by the effects and thoughtfulness that was put into the room.

Played the Vault this weekend. Amazing escaperoom!!! Loved it from start to finish!!

It's something really especial, very, very exciting! Would you dare???? Something like playing with your friends and at same time challenging yourself.

We had a great experience in The Vault. Not only the story is very well thought, but also the set up and atmosphere that people from Sherlocked recreate is absolutely great. Very challenging but doable. We booked it because of the high scores it has, and we can say now it really deserves a position at the top of the list!

This was my first escape game experience and I loved it. Be aware that it is addictive, I have escaped 5 rooms by now and won't stop. Sherlocked it a beautifully decorated room with many clever puzzles. We played with 5 persons and that was perfect. 4 would also do fine. I hve done other rooms where 5 would be a crowd, but not here. Unfortunately we didn't make it in time, but we were almost there. Thankfully there are more nice escape rooms in Amsterdam.

We had the pleasure of tackling The Architect tonight and give it our highest recommendation for all, but we will focus our comments towards other families with kids/teens. Our children are ages 9, 11, and 13yrs and we had done one "escape room" prior to this (the previous experience was helpful, but by no means necessary to enjoy this activity). The Architect adventure is exciting, challenging and surprising in numerous ways that reflect great creativity and originality. Everyone in our family was able to contribute and was entirely immersed in the experience. We would suggest that there be at least 2 adults for an adventure like this and definitely it is necessary that some of the kids are somewhat older (12yrs and above) so they can be more involved in puzzle solving. That said, younger children provide their unique perspective - and good ears and eyes that can sometimes be key to finding or solving something that adults struggle with. This is a fantastic way to spend time together as a family. It requires true teamwork and cooperation. Siblings need to support and listen to one another in order to be successful...and are thrilled by the fruits of their joint efforts! We hope others have as much fun as we did.
