What People Say About Sherlocked Escape Rooms in Amsterdam

I did the escape-room exercise at the Sherlocked venue in Amsterdam last week as a team building exercise and I was thoroughly impressed by every aspect of the way it was planned. Our hostess, Tanja, set the background story out with great enthusiasm before we entered the escape room. She was detailed in her explanation and prepared to answer our questions about the mystery without throwing away hints. Then we entered the room and found it extremely well planned and accurate to the last detail. Every last object and mark in the room was put in there after due thought and served a purpose. The antiques in the room helped further establish the storyline - and from sounds to smells - it was all there to get us engulfed in the mystery. The level of difficulty was just right - not so hard that hardly anyone solves it, and not as easy that it may be solved within 15-20 mins. Great for team building or just some fun with friends! Highly recommended, well done to the creators!

we went once,to the architect room, and the riddles and clues were very fun and well put together. The staff were really friendly and the location was great. Totally recommend this for people who love challenges.

My friends and I did the vault break-in experience of Sherlocked. It was my first time to do an escape- (or in this case break-in) room and I absolutely loved it! The game is excellent and well-thought-out. You can see that the makers have carefully considered and planned everything well in advance. You are not bound to one room, but you have to move quickly from one location to another, which makes the experience very adventurous. And it is not easy at all! Especially if you are with six girls who all yell and shout at the same time, hence we didn't make it;). However, I highly recommend this game to anyone!

My fiancée and I are big fans of the works by Arthur Conan Doyle and enjoy everything associated with Sherlock Holmes ranging from literature, films, tv series, PC games over to the ultimate experience which was this place and we highly recommend it! It was just us two against the clock in The Architect room and it was a treat like no other. We enjoyed it immensely and were pleasantly surprised to learn that our expectations were fulfilled and beyond. The nice lady guiding us through was ever so friendly and polite and we thank her for letting us enjoy this awesome escape filled with puzzles, clues and riddles. In summary it was a most memorable evening and we hope to visit again in the future:) Thanks from Filip and Katerina:)

The Vault, Ongelofelijk leuk om te doen. Spannende afwisselingen en goede spanningsboog. Ik zal niet te veel verklappen maar het kleinste foutje kan je al te veel tijd kosten, wat het des te moeilijker maakt. Dus als je houd van een uitdaging, ECHT EEN AANRADER. De hele sfeer, acteer werk, opbouw, was fantastisch. We hebben het helaas niet gehaald maar des ondanks erg genoten!

I play lots of escape rooms and The Vault was maybe the best experience I have ever had. It is incredibly creative and wholly immersive in a way I have never seen before. The setting is incredible - it is in the actual old stock exchange! Staff was also really great. They did their job perfectly (don't want to say more, because, spoilers, but I was very impressed.) Highly recommend this to anyone who is in Amsterdam, even if you have never done a room before - it is basically a tourist experience and escape room all in one.

Very immersive and role-playing heavy. Great actors, beautiful location and nice story. Recommended if you like the combination of acting and puzzling!

Really unique and fun escape (or break-in ) experience! Expect the traditional scape game experience to be spiced up with some roleplay and live actors. While this might not be everyone's cup of tea, we thought this really created a fantastical and immersive experience that allows you to take the leading role in your own personal heist movie! Highly recommended!

How often have you watched a movie in which the characters need to work together to solve a problem, only to be frustrated by the poor decisions they make. You and your friends would surely be much smarter. Well, here's your chance to test that theory. Nothing can prepare you for Sherlocked. And in my opinion, that's a good thing. I believe that if you go in without any preparation or preconceptions it will only make your experience more fun. It is a truly amazing experience. Just try it.
