What People Say About Sherlocked Escape Rooms in Amsterdam
With over 1,500 five-star reviews on Tripadvisor, our escape rooms are consistently ranked among the top-rated escape rooms in Amsterdam.
The escape rooms hosted here are incredible. They’re an almost guaranteed way to make a memory. My partner and I have done two of the rooms, and both times, the hosts were very professional and convincing with their parts in the stories. The puzzles are challenging but not impossible, and incredibly rewarding. I can wholeheartedly recommend this.

Amazing escape room, we did The Architect, for many of us it was the first time but we had a lot of fun, teamwork, full of clues and fun puzzles!!! We will be back to do the other one for sure!

We could not recommend ‘The Vault’ experience any more highly. From the initial intrigue and excitement leading up to the ‘mission’, to the moment the experience begins, there is an unparalleled sense of immersion. Through a series of puzzles, challenges and role-playing we were captivated and brought into another world. Sherlocked has spared no attentional to detail and the calibre of acting, venue and production all come together to solidify this as one of the best experiences out there - not to be missed!

Great way to spend a day in Amsterdam!
Fun, challenging, and exciting, the folks behind the "Sherlocked" escape rooms in Amsterdam have done it right! They have two experiences to choose from: The Vault, which is a break-in, and The Architect, which is mystery-solving. Both are very well curated, with clever puzzles that take advantage of the historical building in which they're housed. We solved both in one day -- it's recommended to do the Architect first, then the Vault, which we did. We tackled the Architect in the morning. Our host was engaging and enthusiastic, and our team of four had a wonderful time working our way through the secrets of the room. The puzzles are clever and well-organized, with lots of little, thoughtful touches -- notes penned on fabric, for example. Play is available in both English and Dutch. After lunch, we tackled the Vault -- a heist scenario that begins with your talking your way into the building -- and the Security Guard host was not persuaded easily! As with the Architect, this scenario took great advantage of the building's historical features and was both mentally and physically challenging! We had an incredible time. I can honestly say this was the most impressive escape room set-up I've ever seen!

Expensive but worthwhie
A very well done escape room in a great location. Difficulty level is easy-moderate, but lots of fun & unique twists & moments. Definitely worth a visit, but make sure you book in advance! Its definitely on the high end (129 euros) but its located very near the Red Light District so I imagine rent is probably expensive. The gamemaster (female) was friendly and accomodating.

From 13 to 83: we loved it
Family group of 10, that we split into two groups. We all enjoyed...very well done in a wonderful historic building. To be done absolutely as family members, for all ages from 10 to really participate. Time is flying once you're in. We'll definitively do it again

Indeed nerve-wrecking yet fun activity to do!!
I went to this game with 5 friends at midnight. It's our first real-life escape game experience, we totally don't know what to expect and are afraid that we are not able to escape from the room within the allocated time. I heard and saw in the review that it's pretty cool activity, and in the end of game, we made it with 3 minutes left!! I can't say much detail about the game, but it's highly recommended activity! Love all the details, the puzzles, stories, and old designs. Everything falls perfectly to get the suspense ambience yet exciting at the same time once uncovering all the clues. Not to mention, the most important thing is I am still mesmerized by this after the game ended and want to write nice review about it (it's my first review, usually I never write a review because there is never something that makes me hooked so much afterwards!!). Looking forward to their next escape game for sure.

The Architect is fascinating
This was our first excape room ever and we did not make it (we got to about 80%). But the experience was very cool. We were 2 adults, 4 teenagers (14-16). The room has enough to do for everyone and it is a very cool historic setting, that makes it seem absolutely real.
