What People Say About Sherlocked Escape Rooms in Amsterdam

Terrible experience as a customer - this escape room asked to change the time (very close to the date) which we BOOKED AND PAID ALREADY, and I couldn’t make that time so I asked to cancel for myself while other friends would still do. The reply from them is I cannot get a refund as much as I paid, since the number of participants is shorter now - which is CAUSED BY YOU. I tried to call and left a message via social media, but NO ONE REPLIED, ignoring my message while still posting stories? PLEASE treat all your customers properly and process the refund for the FULL amount for 1 person immediately. It is unacceptable to place the burden of YOUR fault on your customers. I’ll never recommend this place to anyone, there’re much better escape rooms in Amsterdam to secure your booking and treat customers properly, rather than this frustrating experience of paying more than €35.

The setup to this scape room was astonishing! Really loved the fact that we could walk outside between the buildings and need to act as a art enthusiast in order to be able to proceed with the game. The quality of the environment and the materials is amazing. Kudos to Samuel for such a good acting and guiding when needed!

I do not know where to start!!! This escape room was lit. I went yesterday with 3 friends and we did the Vault! There is a lot of climax already at the beginning, secret agent/James Bond vibe!!! It's very enigmatic, the riddles are fun and extremely difficult to solve, which makes this game excellent!!!! Another element that I like about this game is that it is extremely realistic, while adding some scary/stressful elements at the same time, hence improving our team coordination and the fun drastically!!!!! The staff is also extremely efficient and has done really well with the role play!!!! I will absolutely recommend this escape room!!!! Time to find the Vault...

Having never tried any escape room before, Me and my friends were tempted to give this place a go after reading about it's rave reviews on trip advisor. Finding this place was abit hard as it is located at the corner of the building with its view of the signage being partially blocked by the cafe beside it. We were greeted by two friendly and welcoming ladies upon entering. Before entering the escape room, we were told a story linked to the room that certainly set the mood for an adventure! The room was detailed and we were given an hour inside. I am glad to say me and my friend certainly enjoyed the experience.

This is my favourite escape room in Netherlands (and possibly the world) haha! As a fan of escape room myself, this was smart and systematic. I did 'The Architect' room and it was immersive. Although the puzzles were not of super high difficulty, it was clever and really enjoyable. Everything made sense (which i believe is the highest compliment in the escape room world) and the story telling was superb! Thank you for the experience. This was the best part of my trip! Cheers ~

Great Experience, very immersive

My fiancé and I booked the Architect while in Amsterdam. We had been told that it was the best one in town. We definitely weren’t dissapointed! The room is in the building of the old stock exchange of Amsterdam, which is really awesome. The storyline and decor were great and the puzzles moderately hard. We were 2 and got out with 12 minutes to spare. Overall a great experience! We are dissapointed we didn’t get to do the Vault, but it calls for 4 players minimum.

Located in a convenient place near the central station, Sherlocked’s The Architect game entertained our family at the end of a busy day. The game itself is held in the basement of an old historic building which adds to the ambiance (including a bit of humid smell in the enclosed hidden rooms). The puzzles were challenging and fun but we managed to complete the game with minor help. Definitely recommend it

Five friends and me took on the challenge of Sherlocked. Your experience actually starts when entering the building. The whole atmosphere of the old stock-exchange adds to the feeling of excitement before starting your mystery. The organisation was perfect and the setting was absolutely amazing. From minute one, you HAVE to work together if you want to make progress. I don't want to talk too much about the "puzzles" and "secrets", but I can assure you that they are challenging and extremely fun. This was my first escape room experience. Sherlocked has set extremely high standards. Let's see who comes even close to meeting them!
