Fantastic escape room 'The Alchemist', strong overall story and smart physical puzzels for individual parts. Did it with colleagues, a group of 6 in total. The room is big and works well with such a group.

We travelled to Amsterdam to do a bunch of escape rooms. This was the last room of the week and was our least favourite. The room didn't flow well and some of the puzzles lacked logic. We felt one of the tech puzzles wasn't working properly and we spent a good ten minutes trying to solve it. Once we talked to the staff we tried the same method again and this time it worked. On a plus note the setting is really cool.

I can't explain how much I loved sherlocked! My boyfriend and I unfortunately couldn't get the very last step to escape the room but we had a great time trying! The girl looking after us said we did well for a two person team but to be honest it was the experience more than anything that made it so fun. It was so authentic. It was my first time trying something like this and we did it for my birthday which was that day. I want to try more of them. I just hope they live up to sherlocked!

Me and my family's first experience of the sort. Excellent overall: the staff, the games, the wow factor. We've been to a few other escape rooms since but this one still remains our number one pick.

Let me start by saying that Sherlocked is definitely one of the top escape rooms in the Netherlands.The room is well made and the location is fantastic. Not only it's right in the middle of the city center but also because the building itself lends to the story at hand. But even more importantly than that, the game play is exceptional. First time player would have an experience of a lifetime while escape room enthusiasts would appreciate the ingenuity. It's not a static room where one puzzle would simply lead to another. There are mechanics involved and their effects are quite a delight and there are many puzzle designs that are outside the box. You'd be pleasantly surprised quite often. So yes, do play this room. Highly recommended. Having said that, the room does have some holes in its choice of storyline. There is not much progression of the narrative during the game which is somehow salvaged by the explanation at the end but still it could have been better integrated to the design. The atmosphere is a bit lacking with the absence of sound and light play but this might actually be preferable for players who are not too keen on feeling too nervous during the game. The puzzles are challenging and success rate is only around 30%. They are not impossible but it might be frustrating for people who are not used to solving riddles and figuring out codes. Some clues unfortunately was made rather unnecessarily difficult as it is hard to even see or hear it clearly. Our team did manage to make it out (with 10 minutes to spare and without any hints given by the game master) but we were told that this was not usually the case and we couldn't help thinking that simply making some clues easier to read and others clearer to hear would help players a great deal. Last but not least, the host/game master could have been a tad friendlier. He never tried to learn our names and did not seem to be interested in finding out where we are from. We assumed this was because he opted to stay in role at all time which was commendable but role playing should not be in the expense of hospitality. When I played escape rooms at other establishments (either in the Netherlands or in other countries), the hosts were interested in finding out how you experienced the room and were eager to connect to you as fellow escape rooms enthusiasts. Neither I nor my team mates felt that connection here. Still, do try the game. It's that good to overlook these inconveniences. If the organizers are able to improve on these other aspects, though, I have no doubt it could be one of the best escape rooms not only in the Netherlands but the world.

The Vault is by far the best escape room I've been to in The Netherlands. A thrilling and sometimes extremely challenging expedition into the oldest underground historic vaults of Amsterdam. Lot's of 'real feel', history, time pressure, and great acting. Only 15% of teams makes it out in time, guess our team was one of the lucky few!!! Can't wait to try the other room, The Architect, too.

I've done close to 10 escape rooms now, but this one is for sure amongst the best! The story is really nicely laid out, the room is impressive and it contains elements I didn't see before while still being challenging! Would highly recommend!

We could not recommend ‘The Vault’ experience any more highly. From the initial intrigue and excitement leading up to the ‘mission’, to the moment the experience begins, there is an unparalleled sense of immersion. Through a series of puzzles, challenges and role-playing we were captivated and brought into another world. Sherlocked has spared no attentional to detail and the calibre of acting, venue and production all come together to solidify this as one of the best experiences out there - not to be missed!

I went to "The Vault" with classmates. It was a very unique experience. Both the location and the game host were very convincing and that added lot to the total experience. The staff was very friendly as well. I highly recommend trying this escape room out!
