What People Say About Sherlocked Escape Rooms in Amsterdam

We visited Sherlocked The Architect and absolutely loved it! There’s lots going on, so with a group of 5 people we were all occupied with puzzles and riddles. We really enjoyed ourselves! I do have to be honest and say that a few things weren’t working as they should and whilst that didn’t take any of the fun out of it for us - for the price you pay, I feel everything should work 100%. Still, very much recommended!

3 of my friends and I attempted to take on the vault! The fun started with the emails we received and the instructions of what to do on the day. It felt like we were really part of a heist that took part in two separate locations! We loved it so much that we booked the architect escape game right after for later that day!

Getting locked up a room and paying to escape from it by solving puzzles probably seems like a strange hobby, but it's really fun! This room was recommended to us by the creators of another escape room (in Bunschoten). To their opinion this was probably the best escape rooms in the Netherlands. And they didn't lie! The location, story and well worked out theme greatly contributes to the experience. In our opinion this room is a bit harder to solve than most other rooms we have done in the past, but it is certainly not impossible for first-timers. Keep communicating and you will succeed! We will return to (hopefully) solve The Vault!

Fantastic escape experience with a great guide Eduardo

A real life escape game that you play with friends, lasts for 60 minutes. The aim of the game is to solve riddles to ‘escape’ the locked room. Cost is 122.40 Euros for up to 6 players (including paypal fee), and we thought this price was well worth the experience. This worked very well for our group of five friends (aged 28-33). Sherlocked was very difficult to find, as located in a HUGE building with many different halls, and initially we were trying to get into the building from the wrong direction – suggest go early and leave yourself plenty of time to find the entrance! (it took us over 15 minutes, on top of the 5 minute walk from Centraal Station) When you arrive there is a cloakroom area and a lock box where you have to leave your mobiles and cameras etc as these are not allowed inside the locked room – in case you spoil the surprise for other future visitors! The hidden rooms are extensive and this location was even more fun than other similar games I've played elsewhere! Definitely recommend if you have a free hour and a half in central Amsterdam.

We did the Vault room with a group of four. It could have been a good escape room, but we had several technical issues. One door didn’t open and all we were told was to keep trying. After a long time someone came and also couldn’t open it so we were told the result of that riddle. Also some other things didn’t work properly (like 2 out of 4 flashlights were not charged) and this was just frustrating. We didn’t find some of the riddles logical. From our experience I cannot recommend that room.

Great twist on the regular escape room setting in an amazing location (lovely old building in Amsterdam) and some fun role-playing. The room has actually quite challanging clues and puzzles, I would recommend it to experienced escape room goers, not beginners. All is all great experince, the acting part is very fitting or a group of 4.

Amazing scenary for an escaperoom. Many rooms, great storyline, diverse puzzles and overall an awesome experience! Go do it yourselves! I garantee you’ll have a good time!

We visited Sherlocked during Christmas holidays, the location was perfect, in the middle of all the action. But I must say, maybe my expectations were to high because of all the 5 star Tripadvisor ratings. I think the price is to high for what you get. I loved the puzzles but sometimes logic missed. Guy who hosted the game was very nice

I absolutely LOVED Sherlocked! We went with my family of 6. Everyone go to do their part, everyone loved it. When we stepped out of that door I had such an adrenaline rush! I recommend everyone to do this!
