Had a brilliant experience at Sherlocked. Me and my friends played the escaperoom named "The Vault". You can play it in Dutch or in English! I'm not gonna spoil the escape room but I loved it. The workers at Sherlocked are really into their roll, they play their part during the whole escaperoom. Most of the escaperooms are kinda borig, you're just in a room and you have to open up a lock. But here it's a whole storyline about opening a vault. You have to go through seperate rooms and you start at a parking lot a bit away from the escape room. If you enjoy a mysterious, difficult and thrilling escape room... then this is the place to be.

Did you love games and puzzles when you were a kid? I know I did. Me and my younger sister would make up all kinds of games in which you had to go through different rooms solving puzzles and mysteries while jumping from chair to chair because the floor was made of lava. About fifteen years later those days are behind us and we usually do normal stuff like going out for coffee or to see a movie. We still like games and puzzles though; when we get together you could easily catch us playing monopoly or the occasional mario-kart match. I guess we just don't fool ourselves into believing the bathroom is a basement filled with long-lost secrets anymore. I think that as we grow up we need increasingly more realism to really give into our imagination. A chair on a red carpet is no longer a rock that rises from the boiling lava pools of death. You just feel too old for that stuff, and you would feel silly doing it even though it used to be so much fun. I had heard about escape rooms before and I guess the idea was appealing to me, but I never really looked into it. A friend of mine came up with the idea to try breaking into 'the vault' and really needed another competitor. I didn't have anything else going on and I thought to myself; well hey, why not? Let's give this escape room thing a try. Well I can assure you, as soon as we stepped into 'the vault' those feelings of excitement and curiosity I used to have stepping over chairs in our living room on my way to the next clue came bubbling up again. Everything looks amazingly real and there are even professional actors who make it seem like you should actually be on your guard. The whole thing is like a special agent's mission where you're Ethan Hunt infiltrating in enemy territory or Danny Ocean robbing a casino. We barely got out with our lives. Sherlocked has excelled greatly in making an exciting puzzle for people who have past the age where they used to play pretend. I can recommend trying to break into 'the vault' to anyone who would like to see if that past love for games still is in there somewhere. It exceeded all of my expectations, I'm sure it will blow your mind.

We’re celebrating a 30th birthday and this was one of the activities and what an experience! We’ve never done an escape room before and all I can say is we want to do more! The entire thing from start to finish was well planned and thought out, the puzzles really get your brain going!! Would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone!

This was a first for us so we were unsure what to expect, but reading the reviews it seemed like fun so we went along... and we weren't disappointed, it was brilliant!! We did The Architect and solved it with 3 minutes to spare... what an adrenalin rush!! There were 4 adults in our group which seemed the right number, too many and it could be a bit crowded, but the main thing to remember is to work as a team. Thought it was the highlight of the holiday but then my partner proposed to me in Dam Square, so it came in a close second

Did this as a team building exercise and had such a good time. We escaped with twelve minutes to spare. Such cool puzzles and things to figure out. Would do it again.

We completed the 'The Architect'. It was one of the best escape rooms I've experienced. Very well put together. The host was very good, the story was inventive and the plot-element suprising. The escape room was thrilling and exciting despite it being a non horror escape room. It had me excited and I'd advise this one!

The Vault was definitely the most awesome experience ever!!! Kudos to the masterminds behind it :)

Being from the US we don’t have any escape rooms as extravagant as this one. The craftsmanship and creativity was unparalleled. A lovely experience if you have the capability to bring 3 other people with you to Amsterdam to participate in this room. Samuel was a great GM who let you try to solve the puzzle but would give you the right level of hints when you needed them to proceed to the next puzzle.
