What People Say About Sherlocked Escape Rooms in Amsterdam

Having done a few escape rooms in the U.K., we wanted to do one while we were in Amsterdam for the weekend and were not disappointed. Thankfully the young man who set the scene for the experience spoke perfect English and therefore we were not at a disadvantage at any stage in the game. He was also a very good actor in setting the atmosphere for the room ahead. It was excellent from start to finish and the puzzles were challenging but not too frustrating. Enough hints along the way when needed without spoiling the flow! The venue was very atmospheric and imaginative. Loved it and would thoroughly recommend. Suitable for groups of friends or families with older children but would recommend at least 4 people do it to stand a chance of getting out! We missed out by about 2 mins (as a group of 3) and would have benefited from an extra person’s help. Or maybe we’re just making excuses!

Our group of 4 did Sherlocked on June 10 before heading to the airport to head back to the U.S. It was a ton of fun trying to solve the mystery. Well worth the money. The 1 hour flew by. Looking for something different and love solving puzzles, mysteries then this is for you.

This is by some way one of the most fun escape rooms I've ever done. The breadth of puzzle types, the high production values, and the way it places you at the forefront of the story make it a must-play if you're looking for escape rooms in Amsterdam. We played The Vault as a group of 4 friends. It's fairly hard - we made it out but another group of friends didn't. There wasn't a dull moment: they've got a sensible number of hints so you're never idle, and the staff are very capable.

My fab friend had organised Sherlocked for my hen party! And it was so fab! We had a 'break in' rather than a 'break out' experience! So so fun! We really got into it! A lot of time effort and creativity has went into this game! Would 100% recommend! Also in a really central location which is super for tourists like us! Great job!

Hi, after Shopping and sight seeing in Amsterdam, Sherlocked was the final piont on our Agenda. And it was the highlite of the trip , for us a family of four. After the friendly welcome and introduction, we were locked in the old and historic surrounding of H.P Berlage. ... and then the clock started to tick ... Unfortunaltely against us, because we missed the final clue. Nevertheless on the way back home we had a lot of hilarious "what if" duscussion and tons of adrenaline. For sure this was not the last escape room for us. For other families: the Kids will love it. It is mysterious, thrilling, not spooky and not scary. Any member of any age - in my opinion above 10 - will be part of the game. The advices came in English, but language was not an issue and no reason for missing the last secret. Have fun and go for it!!

My friends and I were lucky enough to get to play The Architect and The Vault back to back during our trip to Amsterdam. It's hard to not just rant incoherently about what an amazing time we had so I'll break it down into parts. The Staff Professionalism at its finest, we arrived at the requested meeting time and were greeted and welcomed warmly. Simon and Victor walked us through getting ready for the Architect while we waited for the rest of our group to arrive. They were polite and helpful with our questions and took a moment in the hectic time of getting everything sorted to keep us entertained with pleasant small talk while we waited. After seeing the rooms its clear how much work goes into hosting, coordinating and assisting each room. This staff is top notch and deserves every bit of praise I can muster. The Rooms The Architect is a stunning masterpiece of an escape room, it provides a strong meta that flows flawlessly in one of the most beautiful spaces I have ever experienced in a room. It's not super clear from the description but the room is housed in the basement of the historic Beurs van Berlage. Most rooms are in a rented office space with some pop up walls, definitely not the case here. Every detail of the room is the highest quality, each prop is handcrafted to fit the aesthetic and function of the space; it's totally awe inspiring. This is a "must do" for any fan of escape rooms, period. The Vault offered an experience I have wanted out of a escape room for years. It's an immersive and engaging story, that rewards you the more you buy into the adventure. The room is challenging and incredibly rewarding ever step of the way, the lead up to the room is almost as fun as the room itself, be sure to take every bit of advice you are given by them. Overall Experience It's pretty clear to me that these rooms rank as some of the best I have done and are must do rooms. If you are in Amsterdam or near by and call yourself a fan of escape rooms, make it a priority to visit.

Met zes personen “The Vault” gespeeld... Wat een avontuur! Van begin tot eind waan je je in een andere wereld! De spellen zijn uitdagend en je moet geweldig functioneren als team om erdoorheen te komen. Ik kijk zeer uit naar de volgende Sherlocked-experience!

Best, most enticing and creative escape room i’ve been to! Tho we lost (haha!) we enjoyed it very much :)

One of the best escape rooms I have ever visited. We did the alchemist and the room had really clever clues and the technology was very well made. Our host also was really amazing! So enthusiastic, encouraging and charismatic. Would 100% recommend you do this, it’s well worth the price.
