What People Say About Sherlocked Escape Rooms in Amsterdam

Oh.. my.. god! Seriously, we were still shaking 20 minutes afterwards. We made it out in time by a hair and I found it pretty darn hard at times (my children weren't as phased; they were racing through the room at rocket speeds). I think this is BY FAR the most exciting, fun and challenging experience you can have with your family or friends right now. We honestly want to forget it, and do it again.

We took on the Architect challenge with a group of 6 and completed it with 10 minutes to spare! Our host was fantastic, fully emerged in character upon arrival which really added to the whole experience! Very well thought out, a brilliant challenge. Would highly recommended if you are visiting with a group of friends. I’ve only ever done one escape room before in London and this certainly tops that :) thank you!

We did the heist at Beursplein, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The decoration was really good and the overall experience was very exciting. They could've toned down a bit the roleplaying though. The questions the actresses fired at us (who invited us, what we were doing there, who we were, etc.) became a bit tedious at some point, especially after we had already lost the game. However, they were great sports and were kind enough to tell us all about the game and take a few pictures of the group afterwards. I'd really recommend this and I look forward to doing the other experiences.

I didn't really know what to expect from this mystery game but believe me you wont be disappointed! Its probably one of the best things i did while in Amsterdam. An afternoon full of surprises! Would definitely recommend booking up with your friends or family for something different to do on holiday! Will be back asap

This was really one of my best experiences ever. Really profesional hosts. Good storytelling and awesome puzzels. Played both of the rooms (the architect and the vault) would def recommend this place!!!

we are an experienced couple with escape rooms (done over 10 in Israel). in our opinion this room is not suitable for 2 people - we did not finish in time (a shame that they allow couples to play). most of the riddles were good, but there were too many for a couple. probably would have managed if they gave us a little more time to finish (but they stopped the game exactly after 1 hour). we asked for a walk-through for the few remaining riddles (after we already got out the room), but the staff refused to tell us (too bad, because we would not go there again and it could have make our experience better). it is very expensive (compared to other rooms in Amsterdam). overall the room was nice, good theme, sophisticated riddles, but we got out of there with a bad taste. we would not return there.

We went there 0 expecations and as soon the emails came we where flashed at how good it was went there had so much fun and overall awesome experience, cast was also so in the role that it made it even better 10/10 would do again

After playing hundreds of games around the world, the games at Sherlocked still stand out in my mind as some of the most memorable experiences. Don't spoil anything for yourself, but definitely book in - especially for 'The Vault' (recommend 4 people) - you won't regret it.

The Vault is the BEST escape room I’ve ever done… and I’ve done a lot of them! Such brilliant ideas and the production design was incredible. We had an amazing time. It’s perfect for larger groups but works with smaller groups too. The host was terrific and we will definitely be coming back to try out the other rooms! Definitely a must if you love escape rooms. If you’ve never done one, start here!

You’re 4 art dealers trying to break into a vault – that’s all I can say without spoiling too much. We had the time of our life! Make sure to be in the right mind set – it’s way more fun if you go along with the story and let the surroundings (an actual underground vault) and the atmosphere inspire you. Money well spent for the thrill you get! Special shout-out to the people running this place for their acting skills – very convincing!
