The game was great and is full of... "things" (won't spoil ANYTHING) If you're a group or 2 people, and want to do something besides "the usual stuff", THIS is exactly the thing! No mater if tourist or resident.

Did you love games and puzzles when you were a kid? I know I did. Me and my younger sister would make up all kinds of games in which you had to go through different rooms solving puzzles and mysteries while jumping from chair to chair because the floor was made of lava. About fifteen years later those days are behind us and we usually do normal stuff like going out for coffee or to see a movie. We still like games and puzzles though; when we get together you could easily catch us playing monopoly or the occasional mario-kart match. I guess we just don't fool ourselves into believing the bathroom is a basement filled with long-lost secrets anymore. I think that as we grow up we need increasingly more realism to really give into our imagination. A chair on a red carpet is no longer a rock that rises from the boiling lava pools of death. You just feel too old for that stuff, and you would feel silly doing it even though it used to be so much fun. I had heard about escape rooms before and I guess the idea was appealing to me, but I never really looked into it. A friend of mine came up with the idea to try breaking into 'the vault' and really needed another competitor. I didn't have anything else going on and I thought to myself; well hey, why not? Let's give this escape room thing a try. Well I can assure you, as soon as we stepped into 'the vault' those feelings of excitement and curiosity I used to have stepping over chairs in our living room on my way to the next clue came bubbling up again. Everything looks amazingly real and there are even professional actors who make it seem like you should actually be on your guard. The whole thing is like a special agent's mission where you're Ethan Hunt infiltrating in enemy territory or Danny Ocean robbing a casino. We barely got out with our lives. Sherlocked has excelled greatly in making an exciting puzzle for people who have past the age where they used to play pretend. I can recommend trying to break into 'the vault' to anyone who would like to see if that past love for games still is in there somewhere. It exceeded all of my expectations, I'm sure it will blow your mind.

My husband and I run our own escape room in Ireland, and we often go and play other games because we love these games so much. Many times we are let down by unoriginal, pointless puzzles that are more like a lame scavenger hunt without any logic or problem solving. We went to Sherlocked in November with some family members and played The Architect and were absolutely blown away by the quality of the puzzles, the layout of the room, the friendly and professional staff, and the excitement we felt towards the end as we were so close to escaping! I'm a harsh critic of escape games and as I said am usually unimpressed. I will be recommending this game to everyone I meet that makes a trip to A'dam. My hats off to the creators of the game, the staff, and everyone involved in this great activity. You deserve all of your 5 star reviews, and more.

We did the Architect - family of 4: 2 adults and 2 kids (10 and 12 yo). Everybody loved it! The kids could contribute quite a lot and they are already asking for a new experience. We managed to escape at the last minute (got a hint from time to time, but it was the right level of difficulty for us). I think it is great fun for a group of (minimum) 4. The host was really kind and friendly, we just loved this experience in Amsterdam and we will come for the Vault. This was our first Escape room experience.

We were astounded with our experience at Sherlocked. The whole event is so emersive and beautifully presented. Much better than the escape rooms I have tried in the UK or Prague. This one will be hard to beat. The staff are fantastic. The setting is beautiful. The puzzles are tricky but solvable and a lot of fun. We did the Vault, and by 'did', I mean failed, but still thoroughly enjoying the experience. If we were in Amsterdam for an extra day, we would have definitely gone back. I've already told many friends at home that we need to arrange a trip to Amsterdam specifically for this escape room. I honestly can't praise this experience enough.

Oh man this was freaking fantastic !!! I've been to many escape rooms in Belgium, Poland, Germany and the Netherlands but this one was by far absolutely the best !!! Fantastic set decoration, story and the whole experience was just freaking exhilarating. I LOVED THE DESIGN OF THE ROOMS, ARE YOU KIDDING ME ! IT FELT LIKE A HOLLYWOOD MOVIE!
