What People Say About Sherlocked Escape Rooms in Amsterdam

I booked this as a surprise for my wife who enjoys puzzles and mysteries. The TripAdvisor reviews were very positive so I had high expectations which I'm pleased to say were comfortably met. Our host was very friendly and set the scene well for our chosen mystery, the Architect. The difficulty level was about right - we successfully solved most of the challenges, with a couple of helpful nudges from our host, though stumbled close to the end. The setting and attention to detail was excellent and really created a believable atmosphere. While more participants might have helped us solve it faster, it should be well within the capabilities of a couple who pay attention to everything being said and -- most important -- remember to communicate everything, especially if separated! Highly recommended!

We were 5 people that booked the vault experience and this escape room was really amazing. So much fun and the team that works there were truly amazing at making the experience feel real and authentic. You don’t want to miss this one, 5/5!

We went there 0 expecations and as soon the emails came we where flashed at how good it was went there had so much fun and overall awesome experience, cast was also so in the role that it made it even better 10/10 would do again

Amazing, set the bar too high for me for escape rooms.

Having done The Architect on a previous trip with another group of friends, when I came to Amsterdam for the second time I had to try The Vault. My whole group was blown away with the detail and complexity of The Vault from the interactions with the actors to the puzzles themselves! This is by far the best 2 escape rooms I have been to and is a MUST try for anyone going to Amsterdam! Massive thank you to the staff for making it such a fun and immersive experience for us all :)

We are still talking about The Vault a month after our trip to Amsterdam. Of all the things we did on our family holiday there, this was by far the highlight. The experience is so immersive and you really feel a part of the story. Only wish we could do more escape rooms like this. Our group was our family of four, kids 13 and 10, and it was totally appropriate - it’s even more fun if you really get into the storytelling. Don’t want to say more for fear of spoiling it, but highly recommend!!

Didn't make it in time. it was a bit strange though. We were told time was up, but the clock was still on 8 minutes and started on 59:59. We started at 8 o clock en it wasn't 9 o clock when we got the call that time was up. So that kinda left us with mixed feelings. Make sure to check it before hand.

Take the best escape room experience you've ever had. Go there in your mind, and hop on a fast train to Awesomeville. Once you've passed Awesomeville, Amazingtown, and Flabbergastedcity, you might come close to the place that accurately describes the quality of Sherlocked - The Vault. I went there today with five friends. It wasn't my first escape room, but based on other people's reviews I had incredibly high expectations. Without going into detail (wouldn't want to ruin anyone's experience), this break-in-room MORE THAN lived up to the hype. The location (the old Amsterdam Stock Exchange) is PERFECT. So much history there, and the people behind this experience cleverly used the attributes at their disposal. The addition of having to come up with a cover story is brilliant, really taps into the visitor's creativity. The puzzles are not difficult, but the whole thing is so elaborate that I'm not surprised the majority of teams do not make it out in time. We didn't either and my competitive nature would usually lead me to be disappointed (and a little pissed off), but in this case I didn't even mind. It was an honor to be able to walk around in the stock exchange's historic vaults and we had so much fun! It's worth the money and DEFINITELY worth your time. There aren't enough adjectives in the English language to describe how much this experience beats every other escape room experience. I give it 10 out of 10, multiplied by infinity and taken to the depths of forever. So for your next escape room visit, hop on the train to Sherlocked-town! I know I will. Next up on my list: Sherlocked - The Architect!

We did the escape room with collegues. It was very well thougt out and quite exciting to do. By working together you solve puzzles and follow clues. Nice to do with a group or team!

Very well put together, perfect location in the basement of the Beurs van Berlage. We did 'the Vault' en were really proud to have pulled it off with 7 minutes to spare.
