Genuinely the best escape room you can do

My mates and I have done a lot of escape rooms and this is by far the best there is. Hard but rewarding puzzles, a dash of role-play by the game-masters and a fun story make for a great experience. We got out with a few minutes to spare :). The only two negative (if you can call it that) things I can say is: - It wasn't a 100% obvious that the game actually started outside, so when we were met with role-play at the door we were a bit confused. It clicked after a few seconds so no real issue here. - I strongly advise not doing this escape room early on in your 'escape room career' as most rooms you will do after will be underwhelming :P

Great Escape!

My friends and I played 'The Architect' Super fun escape room with lots of unexpected twists kept us on our toes and entertained. We brought 6 people into the room and we were all kept busy solving the puzzles and unlocking the mystery.

We've done all three of their escape rooms. They are the best we've played. Every room is unic in its own way, but still connected somehow. You can see the years of work, but also the growth in expierence in design. If you dont want 'just an escape room' but an immersive expierence than sherlockeds' escape rooms are just for you. Also try the 'van der mist Report' and the 'medusa report' at home. We backed the kickstarter and these games are awesome. Hopefully a room will open up again in the building, so that you can create a new expierence.

The Architect, Suoer!

First time visiting an escaperoom. It exceeded expectations, we went as family and there was enough for everyone to discover. Cooperation needed to solve it. Theme worled out with the attributes very lovely. Real recommended!

We all liked it very much. The supervisor actively engaged with us to help us through difficult parts, and by doing so we managed to escape just 6 seconds before the deadline!

Both rooms are fantastic!

Our group did the Vault and the Architect on two consecutive days. The Vault: Never before had we played an escape room with actors. What a difference! We had such a blast! Don't worry, they give you 90 minutes (which start when you are contacted at the meeting point) so in spite of the interaction with the actors you will have the regular amount of alone-time in the escape room. But the experience is much more story-driven than the normal search-the-room-adventure. Be prepared to be a thief and to do awesome thief stuff that you only know from the movies. And reserve some moments to marvel at the awe-inspiring location that is the Beurs van Berlage. So different to the apartment rooms most escape rooms have. But if you want to enjoy this to the fullest then get into character, interact with the actors, be prepared to talk yourself out of and into situations and don't forget to talk to your "contractor". I am still reliving the experience with more ideas on who to be, how to act and what to say. I might even do the room a second time to a) get through to the end (yes, we failed) and b) to be as relaxed and quick-witted around the actors as my husband. Big shout-out to our host Caesar: You rock! I still wish we had gotten you involved at the end to scare you-know-who with doing you-know-what. With the kindest of regards, Magdalena from Germany ;) The Architect: In comparison, this is more of a classic escape room. But it is a marvellous setting (again, the Beurs van Berlage), the riddles are non-repetitive and creative and it ends with the best key we ever found in an escape room. Finding the right lock for it was driving us mad and when we finally made the discovery it was exhilarating. We made it out in time and we carry our award with pride. Sherlocked, you need more escape room! ;)

Really fun, good team-building

This activity was a lot of fun - enough legitimate history mixed with a little fiction, and definitely challenging. Our team didn't finish/solve the room, but we still had a great time and left having enjoyed the time there. Definitely a place I would visit, again.
