What People Say About Sherlocked Escape Rooms in Amsterdam

We've played a few Escape rooms in the UK but Sherlocked topped them all - We played the Architect's Room & the set design is amazing - Using the Beurs van Berlage building as it's backdrop meant that the game had a feeling of authenticity other rooms have lacked. We managed to escape but the variety and ambience of the puzzle solving really clinched it for me - an must-play if you're ever in Amsterdam.

I had the wonderful opportunity to play The Vault on my trip to Amsterdam and honestly had the best time! Our game master was incredible and the roleplaying that was added to this game brought a whole new level to escape rooms that I was not excepting. I loved the involvement that he had with us throughout the game. The puzzles were creative and challenging, which I loved! I have not stopped talking about my experience to family and friends and can't wait to come back and play their other room. This is definitely something everyone needs to experience when visiting Amsterdam!

Kept our attention the whole way through, time went so fast but the room wasn't easy! So so good....

We went to Sherlocked and did the Architect with a group of 5. The scenery and the setting of the whole escape room is unique. It does not feel like a conventional escape room, because the interior is build up with so much attention to details. From minute one on you feel part of the provided world/story. The tasks are perfectly structured and the difficulty was perfect for us. The riddles to solve cover a wide variety and are suprisingly at some point. I highly recommend this place! We loved our stay and plan to break into the Vault next time.

A completely brilliant immersive experience-we started ‘playing’ The Vault days before we got to Amsterdam. The anticipation added to the experience and although the kids (aged 10/12) got a bit jittery in retrospect said it was one of the best things we had done. A very cool, very enjoyable escape room, and we weren’t even very efficient at getting out!!

My wife and I did the Architect, and then we came right back with mom and a friend for the Vault, and Wow!! Great gameplay, great flow, engaging live action (without it being overdone), and original puzzles. My wife and I have done almost 700 rooms, and we consider these in the top of all the games we’ve ever played! A particular shoutout to Samuel, our gamemaster, for being supportive, fun, and engaged! We Strongly recommend doing these games!!!

The Vault: Bring your A-Game After having done two escape rooms quite easily, we now headed up for The Vault. Definitely the most cool, innovative and challenging room so far! I don’t recommend to do this room as your first one ever (the Architect is brilliant for that), but damn it was nice. Unfortunately for us our operation ‘pickles’ was not completed successfully, but it’s still very satisfying and definitely recommendable.

Great escape room experience although The Vault is not an escape but rather a break-in. Human and sneaky interaction required! High quality, if you like escape rooms, don't miss this one.

Our team went in thinking that we would crack this thing in no time! And I personally thought it was going to be a boring experience! Boy were we wrong... this was fantastic and really hard to crack - we were challend at every turn. One or two niggles with clues revealing before they should have but overall it was fantastic! Really friendly chap met us on arrival and without much delay we were taken to our challenge. Can really recomend this experience!
