Without giving away any details (all is explained when you take part), escaping the room was one of the most fun things I've ever done. A fast paced brain teaser. SO much fun with a group of friends. I highly recommend it!

With a group of 6 friends we got locked into a beautiful early-20th century room in the basement of the just as amazing Beurs van Berlage building. The room and the great amount of puzzles it contained were created with a lot of attention to detail and drama. For 65 minutes (we had only 2 minutes left on the clock when we escaped the room) we were detectiving away, using all our senses and combined puzzle-solving skills to crack one after the other fantastic puzzle. It's an awful lot of fun, and the feel of accomplishment after solving each puzzle, and eventually escaping the room, is fantastic. We were all first-timers, but it left us with a taste for a lot more. Can't wait for Sherlocked to open their next escape room!

Really unique and fun escape (or break-in ) experience! Expect the traditional scape game experience to be spiced up with some roleplay and live actors. While this might not be everyone's cup of tea, we thought this really created a fantastical and immersive experience that allows you to take the leading role in your own personal heist movie! Highly recommended!

Played the Alchemist— one of, if not the, best room in the world. Great for beginners & advanced players alike, which is no small feat. The build quality, magical moments of the story, and beauty of the space are outstanding. This experience alone was worth the journey across the globe! I recommend having at least one fluent english speaker, or at least reading up on your esoterica beforehand. Other than that, be ready for moments of delight & beautiful surprise.

We had the pleasure of tackling The Architect tonight and give it our highest recommendation for all, but we will focus our comments towards other families with kids/teens. Our children are ages 9, 11, and 13yrs and we had done one "escape room" prior to this (the previous experience was helpful, but by no means necessary to enjoy this activity). The Architect adventure is exciting, challenging and surprising in numerous ways that reflect great creativity and originality. Everyone in our family was able to contribute and was entirely immersed in the experience. We would suggest that there be at least 2 adults for an adventure like this and definitely it is necessary that some of the kids are somewhat older (12yrs and above) so they can be more involved in puzzle solving. That said, younger children provide their unique perspective - and good ears and eyes that can sometimes be key to finding or solving something that adults struggle with. This is a fantastic way to spend time together as a family. It requires true teamwork and cooperation. Siblings need to support and listen to one another in order to be successful...and are thrilled by the fruits of their joint efforts! We hope others have as much fun as we did.

I did the Architect room with my 12 year old daughter. I have done about 8 escape rooms and this was one of or the best one I have ever done. Puzzles were unique and atmosphere was great. Game master was paying attention to us and offered perfect amount of help/clues when needed. Highly recommend this room!

We did "the architect" with a couple of friends. For most of us this was our first escape room so we did not really know what to expect. The room itself is beautifully decorated and you're immediately immersed into the earlier part of the 1900s. The puzzles were fun and challenging, but certainly not impossible to solve. However teamwork and communication are key! We managed to get out with a few minutes to spare.

I really liked the experience of the escape room and it was a pleasure to do, I recommend doing it with friends/family or your with your colleagues. Caesar was an amazing host!
