Highly recommended! — With barely any experience of escape rooms (I'd been to only one prior), I curiously and confidently stepped inside Sherlocked's "The Alchemist" close to midnight for a late night session. I was blown away by the production value, puzzles and involvement that went into building it. I wasn't exactly sure what to expect, but I definitely experienced a sense of wonder and delight as I worked with my team (my girlfriend and three other strangers) to figure out every piece of this puzzle. If you have a few hours in Amsterdam, consider booking a session. Additional bonus was the great location—an easy to find & beautiful old stocks building in the heart of the city.

Did you love games and puzzles when you were a kid? I know I did. Me and my younger sister would make up all kinds of games in which you had to go through different rooms solving puzzles and mysteries while jumping from chair to chair because the floor was made of lava. About fifteen years later those days are behind us and we usually do normal stuff like going out for coffee or to see a movie. We still like games and puzzles though; when we get together you could easily catch us playing monopoly or the occasional mario-kart match. I guess we just don't fool ourselves into believing the bathroom is a basement filled with long-lost secrets anymore. I think that as we grow up we need increasingly more realism to really give into our imagination. A chair on a red carpet is no longer a rock that rises from the boiling lava pools of death. You just feel too old for that stuff, and you would feel silly doing it even though it used to be so much fun. I had heard about escape rooms before and I guess the idea was appealing to me, but I never really looked into it. A friend of mine came up with the idea to try breaking into 'the vault' and really needed another competitor. I didn't have anything else going on and I thought to myself; well hey, why not? Let's give this escape room thing a try. Well I can assure you, as soon as we stepped into 'the vault' those feelings of excitement and curiosity I used to have stepping over chairs in our living room on my way to the next clue came bubbling up again. Everything looks amazingly real and there are even professional actors who make it seem like you should actually be on your guard. The whole thing is like a special agent's mission where you're Ethan Hunt infiltrating in enemy territory or Danny Ocean robbing a casino. We barely got out with our lives. Sherlocked has excelled greatly in making an exciting puzzle for people who have past the age where they used to play pretend. I can recommend trying to break into 'the vault' to anyone who would like to see if that past love for games still is in there somewhere. It exceeded all of my expectations, I'm sure it will blow your mind.

Super leuke uitdaging!! Met z'n 4-en gespeeld en fantastisch veel plezier gehad. Aandachtspunt is wel dat het spel volledig in het Engels is en daarom minder geschikt is voor degenen die de taal niet heel goed beheersen... Misschien een idee om ook een NL variant in het leven te roepen?

This was a first for us so we were unsure what to expect, but reading the reviews it seemed like fun so we went along... and we weren't disappointed, it was brilliant!! We did The Architect and solved it with 3 minutes to spare... what an adrenalin rush!! There were 4 adults in our group which seemed the right number, too many and it could be a bit crowded, but the main thing to remember is to work as a team. Thought it was the highlight of the holiday but then my partner proposed to me in Dam Square, so it came in a close second

We did the Architect with 2 people and it was so much fun! We‘ve done about 10 escape rooms in different countries and this one has been my absolute favorite!! Perfect! Plus a super lovely host who told the story and set the scene perfectly!!

Booked a session in "The Architect" with just my girlfriend and myself. Even with just two people, the room is solvable. We solved it with basically no time left and towards the end we were helped out with a few hints (maybe as a handicap for only having two players). The entire experience was great and goes beyond any escape room experience we've done so far. The aesthetics/location are amazing and really help immerse you in the story a bit more than you'd expect from an experience like this. There's some really crafty custom-built puzzles that really take things to the next level, both visually and creatively. Communication is key in this one. Without spoilers, there's a point where the only way to move forward is via talking to each other. If you're visiting Amsterdam, definitely check this out. Its pricey, but well worth it if you can afford it. I would recommend that you've done at least one escape room before trying this one, though. Also, the location is a little tricky to find on Google Maps and is a bit hidden in plain sight. There is no lobby, just a door with the logo. Be sure to ring the doorbell a few minutes before your booking.

I've visited this escape room with three of my colleagues last week and it's been a fantastic experience. The story is enchanting and all the time I could feel as if I'm part of an action movie. Great for team building or just having fun with friends. I would totally recommend!

We are a team of 4 who have done most of the escape rooms in London and decided to give one a go when we were on holiday in Amsterdam. We booked the Vault. It was honestly the best escape room we've ever done - even in the lead up to the event, the communications and information they send you all shows an experience that has been carefully thought out and considered. This really sets the scene for what turned out to be an exhilarating, exciting, immersive and enjoyable experience. Before you even get into the Vault itself, the parts leading up to it are inventive and fun, and make you feel like you're really part of the experience. The puzzles in the room are challenging, varied and interesting - plenty to keep you on your toes! My best advice would be to throw yourself into it from the start and play along with everything as it makes the experience even more fun. Can't recommend highly enough - will definitely be back to try the other room soon. Thanks for a great experience!

We were a group of friends from 3 different countries and we have played many escape this is the best one we've all ever played. The thought and extra special moments that went into it defiantly put it at the top of our list so much so we considered many times booking the same room again. (There's a twist at the start that I've never seen any other escape room do yet)

Was so great. unfortunately, it is better to speak very well english :) But this experience was amazing. I remember like the best one !!!
