What People Say About Sherlocked Escape Rooms in Amsterdam

This is one of the best things I have ever done. Being locked up with a group of friends (5 in our case) for an hour that seemed to be over in mere seconds. Writing anything about what we did would ruin the experience, so lets just say that an hour of puzzling, thinking, trying and being blown away by how clever this is done was simply awesome. Afterwards, we spent over 4 hours hopping up and down in excitement, discussing what we did (and did not) see, and suddenly seeing secret messages, codes and doors just about everywhere :) Not just highly recommended, but something you just really must do.

Went to Sherlocked earlier today with three friends of mine and completed The Architect escape room. None of us had attempted escape rooms before but found it to be a brilliant and fun experience. The staff member who explained it to us was super nice and helpful and the actual experience itself was lots of fun, it was a perfect difficulty level and is something I will definitely do more of in the future.

Well constructed room, interactive clues that actually require teamwork, and great staff!

We really enjoyed this experience. It was for sure the highlight of our stay. It has a great ambiance, tricky puzzles, an engaging back story and just the right amount of thrill. The host was also super cool!

My fiancée and I are big fans of the works by Arthur Conan Doyle and enjoy everything associated with Sherlock Holmes ranging from literature, films, tv series, PC games over to the ultimate experience which was this place and we highly recommend it! It was just us two against the clock in The Architect room and it was a treat like no other. We enjoyed it immensely and were pleasantly surprised to learn that our expectations were fulfilled and beyond. The nice lady guiding us through was ever so friendly and polite and we thank her for letting us enjoy this awesome escape filled with puzzles, clues and riddles. In summary it was a most memorable evening and we hope to visit again in the future:) Thanks from Filip and Katerina:)

Kamer Henry evers, Rotterdam. Erg leuke kamer, er is goed nagedacht over de puzzels. Redelijk moeilijk en leuk praktisch. Sfeer ook leuk, zeker de ontvangst ruimte, die was een soort ondergrondse kelder bar onder een kerk. Verhaal ook goed verweven met de lokale geschiedenis! Aanrader

We went in two groups of five and it was so immersive, exciting and thrilling, with puzzles that were certainly challenging and not easy, but not so difficult we didn't stand a chance, with helpful hints when we occasionally got stuck! The actors were great, the set was incredible and authentic and it was definitely the highlight of our holiday.

I have played lot of games but this one was totally different. It was so exciting that I still don't realize the game is over.

There were just three of us in attendance, but it did not for one minute detract from the fun of the experience (our first, as it happens). Very cleverly executed and the staff were BRILLIANT, FRIENDLY and EFFICIENT. We almost made it out, but sad to say ran out of time - definitely a must do if you are in Amsterdam and so centrally located. Oh, and we had NO trouble locating it - you would have to be blind to miss it, so don't know what all the fuss is about it being difficult to find, as recorded by other TA contributors. In fact the very large cafe next door to it provides wonderful snacks and drinks should you, like us, arrive a tad early.
