What a great experience. the nicest escape room I have done yet. truly recommended, but take some smart people with you. Great for team building but also for fun with your friends and family.

The bottom line is that this is a creative and fum room. In my opinion too tough for a couple, even for a couple with experience in escape rooms like us. Another issue is the price , not sure this was worth 129 euro. But the challenges were creative, the operator took the role seriously, I wish he would have helped us more instead of opening the door for us when we ran out of time .

I would recommend this to anyone visiting Amsterdam. I played this game as a group of four. The game is so well thought out and inventive. They were lots of different types of puzzles (I won't spoil the game by giving too much away). In terms of difficulty, yes it is tricky but you do get help from your game team member if you need it. The role play and the team were fantastic and we found ourselves becoming completely engrossed in the experience. We were fortunate to complete the mission and the game took us just under 1.5 hours. I enjoyed every second and wish I could do it again! A big well done to all of the team for coming up with such a fantastic experience.

Travelled as a party of 4 for a 50th Birthday, this was a first 'locked room' experience for any of us & we had no idea what to expect. Seems like a nutty thing to pay a decent sum of mobey to be locked in a room for an hour - turns out best decision we made all weekend! Excellent interactive attraction where nothing is as it seems. You need to work as a team & use all of your senses to ensure success. We achieved it with 1 minute to spare! recommended 100%

We’ve done a few escape rooms together and absolutely loved Sherlocked! Our lovely host Alya set the scene for us perfectly, building a good atmosphere with the back story. The room was great fun and working together as a team and communicating well is very rewarding! The location and set-up of the room is excellent with a couple of nice twists. Thoroughly recommended and a great experience!

I was so excited about this experience beforehand that I was worried it would let me down and not meet my high expectations. I was so wrong...it was better than I could have hoped. If you do one thing whilst you're in Amsterdam, make sure it is this. I see a lot of people moaning about the price, but when we split the price between our group it worked out around £15 each which is great value for money. We did escape the room, but only just. It's challenging enough without being impossible. Do it - you must! It's also worth finding the entrance in good time, because it's not the most obvious, so give yourself a spare 15 mins before hand for that.

Great room, staff was a bit confused when we got there

The Alchemist escape room was incredible! It felt like we were real life in a Indiana Jones movie set - or a Dungeon and Dragons quest. It was so freaking cool. There were amazing special effects and clever puzzles. We gasped, jumped for joy, worked like a team and solved the puzzle in the nick of time.
