What People Say About Sherlocked Escape Rooms in Amsterdam

We booked this (called The Architect) as a family of 4 (with our two teenagers aged 15 and 17), having enjoyed an escape room a few years ago in Oxford, and having seen the reviews. Wow!!!! What a brilliant experience! After a brief explanation we were shown into the room, and the following hour was filled with really clever challenges, clues, puzzles and surprises. I can't imagine an escape room done better than this one! I don't want to give anything away but please just book this if you're coming to Amsterdam- you won't be disappointed. We all loved it and can't stop talking about it.

Absolutely beautiful escape room. Very well set up, difficult puzzles and riddles. This being my third escape room I can honestly recommend it!

I’m used to play escape room in Brazil and since I was in Amsterdam for holidays, I wanted to check how was the rooms here. It didn’t start well with me ringing the bell and no one answering it. It was cold and rainy and only after 15 minutes, someone opened the door and simply said... I heard someone ringing but we were busy!! C’mon... this is not how you supposed to treat a customer! We played “the architect” and the game master was supposed to give us hints.... even that we were stuck, no hints arrived. Good part is that they gave extra time and we were able to leave the room. Another “different” behavior from the escape rooms that I’m used is that she was “surprised” that we wanted to take a picture of the team!!!

This is a highly entertaining and challenging experience. We had a ton of fun and were absolutely enchanted by the adventure. We did the Architect and it was mind blowing. I definitely want to try their other experience!

Kamer Henry evers, Rotterdam. Erg leuke kamer, er is goed nagedacht over de puzzels. Redelijk moeilijk en leuk praktisch. Sfeer ook leuk, zeker de ontvangst ruimte, die was een soort ondergrondse kelder bar onder een kerk. Verhaal ook goed verweven met de lokale geschiedenis! Aanrader

This was a first for us so we were unsure what to expect, but reading the reviews it seemed like fun so we went along... and we weren't disappointed, it was brilliant!! We did The Architect and solved it with 3 minutes to spare... what an adrenalin rush!! There were 4 adults in our group which seemed the right number, too many and it could be a bit crowded, but the main thing to remember is to work as a team. Thought it was the highlight of the holiday but then my partner proposed to me in Dam Square, so it came in a close second

I didn't have a clue what to expect from the Vault when I was told I would be doing it. I always wondered how escape rooms could really work as an experience - I always though it was just puzzles you had to solve to get out. Well - yes and no! While there were plenty of puzzles, it was made an experience by the people involved in the organisation of the Vault who made us almost instantly feel like we were actually part of the story - scared, happy, incredibly nervous, and all on cue. If you want to step out of your world and into a story in which you're the hero (hopefully), then step into the Vault!

This escape room was fantastic! We managed to succeed in the escape room “the architecture”. It was a lot of fun and also tricky! very friendly stuff! I am still very speechless about the whole hour! Can’t wait to return to Amsterdam for the next escape room at sherlocked! thank you for working so late, couldn’t be a better evening!

Today we went to Sherlocked at the Beurs van Berlage. I really didn't know what to expect. We were kindly welcomed and led to the room. Unfortunately I cannot tell you what happened there. All I can say is that it really was an experience! The crew has really put effort into it. Teamwork, solving puzzles, time pressure, excitement, heart beating in my chest, rushing, amazement.... beautiful location in the historic Beurs van Berlage. I do think that the crew can do something about the hints, some puzzles might need some minor technical tweaking and I would have liked some really intellectual puzzles, but those are really the only small things I can remark about it. Great experience. Really a fantastic activity to do with a small group!

Its not just the room which is amazing. Its the staff who handles it too. The surprises are too many in the "ARCHITECT". Would recommend to everyone
